Excellent location next to Kaohsiung Main Station (5 min walk). Rooms are a bit old, but serviceable. Staff is very nice and accommodating. Water dispenser on 3rd floor was handy. 7-Eleven around the corner, as is a laundromat that was pretty quick (30 min wash, 30 min dry) and affordable. Don't lock the door before exiting - you then have to call someone to unlock it! Oops - I didn't notice the sign by the door!

Rooms are a bit dated (the console in between the beds with the old knobs), but it was clean and the beds were fine.

I stay at this hotel 10 years ago with good memories, but after this trip , never go back again . for the rate USD170- on night I paid are over charge. I will quote 50USD are more than enough for this kind of hotel.

Old, very outdated furnishings (from the 80s and early 90s) Lack of adapter-outlets on the wall. No in-room safe to keep valuables. The floor and the room constantly smell of mold.

The location is very convenient, the staff is welcoming and friendly.

Cleaning the rooms is a must. I found that I was located in a non smoking room but the room smelled tobacco and there were a kind of dirty areas including the bed sheet, the chair and the carpet with a look like penis discharge. I felt very uncomfortable with it.

Having stay there a few times, the front counter staff always remember to assign my preferred room type, and they are very helpful and attentive. In general, all the staff are friendly and helpful. Key pointer for my return stay.

The staff has a very high level. We could see that they are professionals in their job. Receptionist reminded us of the movie King's man hahaha
