The place is amazing value foe money, and it suits a quiet traveller well, or one who is kayaking. The breakfast, tea table, and viinitupa were great!
The buffet dinner was a bit too fatty and meaty for our stomachs.

Peaceful place to stay in a beautiful location. Very friendly staff. Late check-in outside reception business hours was possible without any problems.
One lavatory only in a guesthouse with over 20 rooms was a little problematic.

A very unusual place to stay. While more touristy at peak times during the day, once the day-trippers leave, calm descends and it feels like a monastery again. The berry wines, for sale in the shop and most of which can be drunk in the wine bar, are very good.
The food is canteen-like, but it IS a monastery, after all.

Everything was excellent. The room was cozy and very comfortable. It has everything, what can be needed during the stay. The quality of the internet connection was very good. The room was beautifully decorated. If you come to pray, you can not bring your own icons, since the room has one big icon.
I have a couple of suggestions of what could be improved. You can add the description of room facilities to let people know what they should bring with themselves. The room has a hair dryer, towels, coffee and tea (two bags) in addition to the electric kettle, soap/shower gel. I was not sure if the room has a hair dryer and brought my own, could save luggage space if a better description of facilities would be available. Russian pilgrims (especially seniors who could not read English) could benefit from a Russian version of New Testament book (the room only has a version in Finnish, English and German).

I was there for the quietness and it was quiet. Modest room for a cheap price.
Food.... It was OK but for that price I would have expected fresh food.... I can heat up a frozen meal in my home, don't need to do that in a restaurant
