El personal es demasiado amable y la habitación era cómoda, eso si añadiría cortinas a las literas para una mayor privacidad.

I don't know where to start. Place was absolutely very clear. Workers/owners were super nice, you cannot believe. Kitchen tools and everything were fantastic. They have a coffee machine, it blends directly from coffee beans and it's totally free. They labeled everything, which is super helpful. And the location... Location is literally perfect: Not too much noise but you can be in the real center in 5 minutes by walking. Absolutely perfect, I will definitely come here again.

Excellent location, very nice, friendly and helpful staff, cozy living room/kitchen area, free coffee/tea, hot shower.
There was a bit of a smell in the room, which didn’t seem to go away for a long time.

everything is the best!!!!
Maybe if the people can talk and laugh not that loud at late night it will be better.

Lotte is one of the best hostels I have stayed. I decided to extend my stay after my first night there. Although some nights some types of rooms were fully booked, so that I had to move from one room to another. However, all of them were great! I already introduced Lotte to many of my friends and I would definitely stay here again when I revisit Heidelberg!

I love the whole atmosphere and the positive vibes from all the lovely staff and owner, Carmen!
I love her work ethics. She is an example of a not bossy boss
Shout out to Riccardo for putting up with me and my never ending bla bla about Italy.
Some guests who aren't so familiar with the guest house lifestyle were not so nice telling others to be silent in a communal kitchen or lounge.
On my 3rd morning, a middle- aged woman and another young lady wanted maximum silence in a communal kitchen or lounge at 8am while guests were busy making their breakfast.

This hostel is so cosy and in a great location, it's like a home away from home!

The best hostel I'v stayed in so far. Carmen and the others are very friendly and accommodating in all forms. The place is so home-y. Met the best people here too. Would recommend this to everyone esp solo travelers.

The (top) floor we were on has three private rooms, a kitchen and two bathrooms. It was quiet and felt separate from the rest of the hostel - there's a sign on the stairs asking other residents not to go up there. Everything was spotlessly clean, the kitchen was well equipped / had cereals and coffee / tea / various milks, and the bathroom had good water pressure. The view from the kitchen table is over the rooftop to the crumbled castle tower right above you. You might be in medieval times looking at the exact same view, it is the image of Heidelberg that has stayed with me.
Good comfy bed, large room and a couple of easy chairs. Could have easily stayed way longer.
The young lady at reception was delightful - obviously loves her job and that flows thru into her attitude. So happy and helpful, I smile just remembering her. A great intro to the hostel.
There's a bus stop 100m down the street with buses into the "new" part of town and to Heidelberg Hbf. Plenty of markets and restaurants etc. nearby. The bottom funicular station is in the parking garage building next door, for a trip up to the castle. You don't hear it running from the hostel.
Not a dislike, just a warning - the stairs are steep with some tight turns. A challenge with large luggage!

First of all, it was a very cosy hostel! I definitely recommend it and would go back there myself if I visit Heidelberg again. All the necessary facilities are available. They clearly have experience because everything was well organized. The location is also ideal for visiting the city and not far from the train station. The kitchen is well equipped with everything needed for cooking; and for breakfast there was even free cereal and milk available! It was definitely one of the best hostels I have stayed at!

The place was super cosy and had everything necessary. It was clean, people, including the stuff were friendly and open and it felt like home. The location is just next to the Bergbahn (takes you to the castle) station in the old town. It was amazing to notice how they thought about environment in everything and had for example posters on how to act more environmentally friendly.

I can really just agree on what already have been stated here from my fellow travelers: it´s one of the most coziest, prettiest and friendliest hostels, that I have been to!
The location is right at the city centre and right at the beginning of the way, leading up to the famous castle in Heidelberg.
The staff was super friendly and it was just so uncomplicated to communicate! :)
Every question that I had was answered in such a nice manner and promptly beforehand, so that I was really looking forward to stay there.
When I arrived I got a little tour through the hostel and they explained to me where everything was and how everything worked.
You also get a personal safe, that you can use freely...no extra costs, or private lock needed.
The vibe of the hostel is really cozy and the other travelers that stayed there the day I was at the hostel as well, were mostly all young fellow travelers and all of them seem chill and there was no one, making any problems or was super loud, or anything.
Even after check out, you could leave your luggage in the storage room, that is guarded by a staff member, which was a point I was really happy about, because I planned to roam around the city and go up the castle after checking out.
Even my friend, who joined me spontaneously, who couldn´t get a free spot in the hostel though, was really welcomed, when he accompanied me for my check in. :)
If you ever travel to Heidelberg, I really can just recommend this Hostel!
Can´t think of any minus points :)
