The doorways into toilet and bathroom were too low and below standard.
I’m 6ft 2 inch and hit my head several times on the top of the door frame.

Location beautiful. Breakfast amazing, onsen beautiful, staff were amazing.

朝食ならびに夕食をホテルのレストランでいただきました。食材やバリエーションが豊富で子供たちも楽しんでいました。朝食後に部屋でも飲み物を楽しめるようにtake awayのcupが備えており、大変良かったです。
大浴場の温度が暑すぎて、子供がつかれなかった。家族風呂を使用したが、こちらも暑かったのでできればすこしぬるめがよい。

Excellent breakfast. Nice outdoor onsen. Large rooms if you can book a family type room.
Some of the staff was not smiling and looked pretty tired/uninterested in what we were asking (reservation for dinner).

The hotel was located behind a golf course that had closed for the winter and was a great place to take walks in nature. The hotel had an weight/exercise room that I took advantage of almost every night and the highlight was sitting in the outdoor onsen (naturally heated outdoor pool) with snow on the nearby trees.
It really was a great experience but the only think that could be improved would be offering more variety on the menu and for the buffet. An expanded selection of food besides beef offerings would be nice.

Excellent breakfast with a variety of choices. Attention to detail where they even offered different types of milk such as oat milk. Maybe could add a little more Japanese twist into their breakfast, it was more toward the western side.
It would be great to have a shuttle bus from the resort to Ogizawa station.

It’s the first bus station after Ogizawa if you do the alpine route. Hotel lobby is amazing, staffs are very friendly and helpful. Room is spacious and clean. The onsen is amazingly clean. We loved it!
Buffet dinner was quite disappointing for the variety of food and the price we pay. If you have the time to go out to town to get food then go for it!

The building all is good, quite and relax place.
And i love the environment.
the room i stay, the aircon is not too cold and the technician told us that is their maximum. And their give us a fan for a night. So its feel like back to century ago.
I stay in sunmertime, my air on turn on in 19deegree and im still sweating.

I liked the location and amenities of the hotel. food was great. staff were really nice. Susumu answered all our questions and provided us with what we needed
only problem we encountered was that we didn't have a play to drink or hangout with friends. there was no restaurant or the facilities in the establishment didn't have food after 9pm. but it was a minor inconvenience.

The place is perfectly located, view from almost anywhere is breath taking. Staff is extremely kind. Breakfast buffet is great.
All this with a very low price!
We were there off season.
Dinner could have been better. But it's negligible.

Location was near Ogizawa Station where we ended our alpine route. Place was quiet and serene amongst lots of greenery. Liked the onsen, it was very pleasant.
The lobby could have been a little cozier. Was not conducive for sitting around and relaxing with friends in travel group. Was hot in the afternoon (no shade from afternoon sun) and at night, the chairs could be closer to the fire.

Only 1 restaurant with a limited menu and portions are small for the price charged.

We liked the hospitality. Everyone was very nice and their English was very good as well! They helped us out with accepting and forwarding our luggage to our next destination. We loved the hotel onsen, especially the outdoor one.
We did not have a car, which made it hard to explore around. We wanted to go to a noodle store close by via foot, but keep in mind that this means that you are walking on the car road. Nevertheless, it is an amazing location close to the Kurobe Alpen Route and the bus stops right before the hotel.

The hotel is very comfortable and the staff charming, available and helpful. We were a group of several families with children of all ages, and everyone was able to enjoy the hotel freely.
