We love coming back to the cove in Spring! Such a peaceful location where the sound of waves rocks you to sleep. The best snorkeling in the US turtle wise and many beautiful fish too! The gardens are immaculately maintained and property management always so lovely. The Pupu party was wonderful too - nice to meet some of the long term owners.

It was a nice quiet trip mostly because there were few condos occupied On previous stays, my condo was cleaned after 7 days. This did not happen this trip. That would be my only complaint.

This trip was our second booking at Honokeana, and we booked a third stay for next year as soon as we got home. We love the small size of the complex, the beautiful common spaces and the unbeatable cove access. The units are not fancy, but they are very serviceable and we appreciate the reasonable prices. This trip we discovered a great happy hour at Kitchen 5315 just a few steps over to the next complex. We also used the BBQ grills many nights. We love the cove and cannot get enough snorkeling time. The unit needed a minor repair while we were there, and it was taken care of right away. We will be back as often as we can.

Unit 208 is a dump. The bathrooms are minuscule, the kitchen was very poorly equipped, the kitchen cabinets should have been replaced ten years ago, the furniture on the lanai was very uncomfortable, there is no air conditioning. Cleaning of the unit when we arrived was haphazard and inadequate. If I ran the management company the rents these condos, I would insist on a total renovation of 208 before it would be offered to unsuspecting guests. Some standards should be enforced.

Blessed beyond our expectations with sea turtles, paddling on top of the clear waters and underneath double rainbows, epic sunsets and views at Honokeana Cove! The property manager provided excellent, kind service with reservation process, check-in/out and entire duration of our stay. The beds were very comfortable, the home was sparkly clean and we could sense God's peace throughout our stay...heavenly!

We stayed for one week in unit 208. It was a great little gem and I would stay at Honokeana Cove again! Next time I think I will choose a unit that gets the sunlight on the lanai (ours was totally shaded all day). Our unit was great for everything we needed.
The bedroom in the back has a lot of road noise, so if you want the windows open at night that's what you will hear.
The loft at the top was nice! You don't get any road noise from there -- just ocean waves :)
Pool was nice and BBQs were well maintained.
We were provided with a late checkout (for a fee) to accommodate our red-eye flight home which was great that we didn't have to rush to leave by 11am.
Nice to have a market close by that we could get groceries at. No beach at this location but one a short walk away.
Overall I was pleased with our stay here. Thank you!

As always a magical experience. Often things are not as good as They use to be. In the case of HC they have only improved. Improved privacy, new roofing, foundations and exterior paint. Most importantly the honu are more plentiful and healthier. We spent two weeks hardly leaving the grounds.

This place was amazing beyond words. The privacy and beauty of the cove were incredible, and the management/staff were super friendly. Only minor issues with the condo itself since it was a bit out-dated and had no A/C, but those were trivial prices to pay for getting to stay here.

This unit is very nice with wonderful views. The unit looks the same as the on-line pictures and was very clean. The furniture is a bit old/dark and there is a lot of it. I don't believe 4 tables are necessary (two of which are on the lanai). Overall we love this location because it is very relaxed, a bit secluded, and yet near to several restaurants and golf.

It's always delightful except for one thing. As a smoker it is not pleasant at all being relegated to an uncomfortable, somewhat dangerous places to smoke. You run the risk of getting bumped by cars trying to park at the daytime smoking area, or the nighttime area amidst the rubbish cans and a propane tank. On my last visit there was no lights working, making it even worse. I completely agree with designating certain areas, but those areas are dreadful. The daytime area is also a poor choice as the prevailing winds blow the smoke directly into the condos. There is a small, grassy area at the end of the first building which h is rarely used by guests where the winds would carry the smoke away from the condos, has an ocean view and would eliminate the danger/creepy factors of the current designated areas. I would not recommend the Cove, or at least advise smokers to the difficulties they would have.

Been coming here since 1983. Managers seemed fine (in the past some started running power tools at 8AM). The unit REALLY needs to have carpets cleaned, and probably couch cushions too. Just felt kind of dirty inside. I would have less lanai furniture and perhaps a recliner. Just rather cramped to relax.
