One way system and road works make finding the parking near enough impossible. Plus there is a coded gate, you need to check in before you get the code so you need to leave the car somewhere first. There were no staff working. I was let in after 30 minutes of knocking. Wifi was down, internal network offered as solution, it was patchy. There were no amenities what so ever. The interior is so dated and impractical, common spaces between rooms feel like student accommodation. Decor is tacky, crystal door knobs that aren't tightened, glittery pillows, laminate bathroom flooring and well used memory foam. Save yourself the disappointment and stay in the Hilton.

Very cold, all fixtures poorly fitted, windows could not have been cleaned for years.

Staff made us feel very welcome, safe and comfortable during our stay last week. The hotels location is superb. All precautions in place for COVID-19 including hand sanitising, hotel was extremely clean and limited contact with staff. Bedroom was larger than most normal hotel bedrooms. Bed was extremely comfortable. Hotel has a small car park and directions to it very clear. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again after lockdown restrictions are lifted. Can highly recommend Knight and Garter, Giggling Squid, Kai, and Middleton Steakhouse which are all within walking distance - literally on the doorstep!
