This is a cute hidden gem of a hotel. Very central location, everything was walkable! Dina is so so nice and helpful. She gave us a whole list of places to check out! The bathtub is very nice and clean. And there was a balcony!

The wifi had a weak signal in our room

Location is central, all the tourist attractions within walkable distance. Check out at 11 is a bit too early.

Location is far away from the railway station difficult to locate for the novice. Room size is small, needs more furniture & space to keep luggage. Check in at 3.00pm is late. However that's the practise all over Europe, it seems.

The location is perfect, right in the center of Gent. The cosy room was under the roof (yes, there are a few stairs to climb, but that was okay for me) with a little balcony, pretty quite even with the window open. Good alternative to the more expensive hotels in the area. I did not book any breakfast, so there was no breakfast - good to know. There are some cafes in the are that can be utilized to get your morning coffee.

The location of the hotel was very good, in the city centre, but also without having noise troubles. There was no breakfast provided to us. We saw coffee and tea around but we did not have breakfast there. The hotel is unique as it is an old mansion renovated to serve as a hotel. I would recommend it for a night's stay.

Quite old inside. It is an old mansion, but I would expect it to be more modern inside. Other than that, everything was fine.

Very basic furnished and appliances.

Everything is old and worn down and that can have charm but here it was simply not okay ! The owner apparently lives in the building and the smell of prepared fish was very present. There was mold in the bathroom and dirt in the drain - Every step you take the floor doesn't squeak but really cracks In our room we simply didn't feel comfortable to even touch things but the bed was the worst. That was not clean. The bedspread was too big and draped on the floor and clearly been stepped on several times but never cleaned. Same with the fabric of the edge of the bed. That was just plain dirty We decided not to spend the night and actually left as thieves in the night ... These people are not cut out to run a place like this. That's the simple truth

Comfy characterful room, very convenient for historic centre.

location was great, really homely feel, cute balcony and a very comfortable bed.

hall way was very dark at night, there a lot of stairs so if you have heavy luggage you may struggle to take up, stuff could of been more helpful on local knowledge and things to do

It is very close to the center of gante. The staff is great they help you with everything. The room is very clean and they give you te and coffee. Loved it.

Good location, a walking distance from the apartment to the central area. The bedroom is very spacious and clean. Dina is very responsive in answering my questions. She cleared out the garbage bins in the room everyday. Good to have a small fridge and an electric kettle. It's a good exercise for us to walk up the stairs to our room which I think is the top floor. :) We enjoyed our stay.

I would prefer if the pillows are a little thicker. That's just my preference. :)
