Helpful and friendly staff and other guests. Good location. Common areas are nice. Bathrooms and bedrooms definitely not fancy, but functional and not gross.

It was really cold. Warm blankets and the showers having hot water saved it, but god was it cold. Lockers are a little small.

InBraga is in such a great location, so central yet feels secure and secluded. It's small size gave it a nice family atmosphere. People often hang out in the communal kitchen, dining and lounge space which makes for cool opportunities to chat and play some of the board games they have available. The staff were awesome. So helpful with how to navigate Braga and surrounding sights. Stephanie and Rafa were a great help and made me feel at home. Cool to have so many volunteers who are here to help too :) + the sunny patio out back. much needed in January/Febuary cold. Thanks Nelson and team.

The only areas for improvement is the beauty of the age of the building means the opening and closing of doors (latches on the doors) can be quite loud. & also the design and insulation of the building makes a 10 person dorm very hard to airate so it can get smelly/stuffy. note: Curtains only for bottom bunks, not too, so less privacy above.

The owner here is very kind and attentive. I highly recommend this property!

I came really late at night and asked the hostel in the phone for it, and the reception was open more time for my check in, so I really appreciate it. The important thing, is Mila at the reception. She was so kind and helpful although it was late and I needed few things she is just amazing and the hostel is just very lucky to have her. All the other were good as well.

Bed Bugs!!!!! I had a very bad case of bed bugs (which I was told by staff was not the first time in recent months this hostel has had this problem). The bites became so bad that they finally forced me to go to the hospital for blood tests and treatment. I brought this to the attention to the staff, management and ultimately, the owner. The staff tried to help but the manager said only the owner can authorize any help and, after talking with the owner, he refused to offer any help or compensation. I was kept in the same room (but given a different bed) and after requesting, I would not even be given a more comfortable bed in that room "due to prior requests and reservations". I was not once offered any financial compensation for getting bed bugs (eg, a free night or discount for the inconvenience), even after I requested. I had €142 in medical bills and the owner refused to cover any of those expenses either. They would not even offer me free breakfast. I had enjoyed this hostel and had planned on staying a few weeks, but finally left the hostel after a very insulting conversation with the owner, Nelson.

Much shabbier than in the pictures. The backyard barely fits 4 people. The only common rooms I was shown were the tiny backyard and the kitchen (crowded in the evening).
