Lovely apartment located in an old 17th century courtyard in the heart of the Navigli area. The apartment has a double bedroom, a living room with a sofa bed, a cozy fireplace, a kitchen and a bathroom. Air-conditioning and heating available.
The neighborhood is one of the city's most lively and trendy: during the Fashion Week or the Design Salon, you can enjoy and be part of numerous events, parties, exhibitions and kermesses.

The communication was great and the place was as listed. Wish it had a consumable (ie liquid bath soap) but overall, I would stay again.

I booked Charming Navigli as my last two nights in Italy thinking I would try a different neighborhood. The neighborhood would not draw me back again but the apartment would. Charming, charming, charming. A well appointed unit, I didn't need to cook but one could. The bedroom was quiet and unfussy. One could sleep there! The living area was comfortable, everything was clean and the bathroom....aha, a bathtub. So perfect at the end of one's journey. Ahhhh.
Also, the check in and out was well detailed, even directions from Porta Genoa were easy to follow. Communication with the host was prompt, efficient and ...amusing?

We loved this apartment.
It is located in a perfect part of the city with alot of natural activity and restaurants.
The attractions were a perfect walk for me and my wife.
It was well equipped and had a market just up the street for shopping.
Check in was very easy.
The courtyard was very secure.
The only note is that at night the gates are replaced by a wooden door which confused us coming back in the dark, but we had a good laugh about it.

Perfect spot to spend a few days in Milan. There were tons of restaurants within walking distance and it was easy to get to the downtown area by foot/bus/uber.

we had an amazing time at this property, we arrived in Milano a decent bit earlier than expected and we’re dragging around our luggage/ unsightly from traveling and Livia quickly responded to our plea to check in earlier (the apartment happened to be empty) and she was so gracious to let us come earlier. There is so much awesome nightlife in Milan that was walkable from the place and felt really safe. The bed was also very comfy and everything was just what we needed. 10/10

This is a lovely apartment in a small commune off the smaller of the Navigli canals. Not a sound can be heard at night in the bedroom, but outside the complex the nightlife is amazing. Convemiently located for everything in central Milan - all within 20-30 minutes by tube or on foot.

We had a very comfortable stay at Livia’s apartment. It’s in a great location within Navigli with everything you need within walking distance or public transport. We had a short lived issue with a delayed check in due to some unavoidable issues with keys. Livia helped sort this out and once we were settled, had a lovely time staying there.

We loved our quick trip to Milan. The location was easily accessible by public transportation. The host was very quick to reply to questions. The place was clean and safe!

We enjoyed our stay. The area seems more local than touristy and there was even a street fair across the canal outside the apartment entrance on the day we arrived. This area had quite a few restaurants that served a buffet/drink menu in the evening. Grocery store on the next street over from apartment. The entrance is a wooden door that leads into the complex.

The picture that enticed us to book the property isn’t where you actually stay. That is the entrance to the area after you go through two gates. The property is actually on through the entrance and is much more routine. Public transportation can get you to other parts of the city quite easily. It was a good area to stay in. We would stay elsewhere if we went back.

We had a wonderful stay and had all the amenities we needed while we were there. It was a good location and a great sushi place right next door. The bed was comfy and the place was safe and secure. Definitely recommend!

My son and I thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay. The apartment is very clean, the kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, and there's lots of space - so much better than staying in a hotel! The owner left instruction manuals for the appliances, which was very helpful, and appreciated. The neighborhood is nice, and we found a grocery store on the next street. Tram transportation is on nearby streets, one of which goes directly to the Duomo. The owner is very helpful. I would highly recommend.

Livia was extremely helpful to us by being to quick to respond when we needed. The apartment in the Navigli neighborhood is full of charm and really is beautiful. Easily walkable to local neighborhoods as well as all the city center attractions. Would stay here again if back in Milano!

Apartment was as described on website. Very secure and quiet property. 10 minute walk to Metro and 30 minute walk to Duomo. No dryer, but a drying rack provided. During warmer weather, bring mosquito spray, if out after sunset. So many restaurants!

We stayed four nights in mid-august. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, with plenty of storage. We had everything we needed for cooking and relaxing. Proximity to public transportation, restaurants and nightlife made the location quite convenient. The host was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. The courtyard was lovely, though there were a surprising number of mosquitos just outside our door. I expect it was just the time of year.

Livia was an excellent host. Check in and out was very easy and the host was very responsive to any questions we had. The apartment location was perfect. Close to restaurants, public transportation, local markets and nightlife while being quietly tucked away.

Quiet haven in Milan
It was a great pleasure to come back from our outings in Milan to the serenity of this apartment. Entering the gates into the courtyard takes you into a quiet, safe, cool and welcoming space. The apartment was perfect for two people. Even during the terrible heatwave of July, we found we seldom needed the air conditioning. The neighborhood, marred as it was only by all the graffiti, was full of great places to eat and good grocery stores nearby. There was easy access to public transportation for trips into other areas. We would definitely stay here again.

It’s located right along one of the canals, and is conveniently located a short walk away from the metro station, allowing easy and safe travel throughout the city’s attractions. Check in was easy via clear directions, a code to enter the property, and easily available keys. It had all the comforts, was nearby trams and in a centrally located area. The bed was really wonderful, firm and soft, with great pillows as well. The AC kept it around 20-22°.

Nestled just off the canal, this apartment was a gem to find. Great food just a few steps away, walking distance to the Duomo and Sforza Castle. We would stay here again without hesitation!
