The Hotel was in a great location, everything was in walking distance.

The elevators were slow. The nine floor smells like chlorine.

we really enjoyed the overall style and location of the hotel. a group of 5 definitely benefited from two bathrooms and two beds plus pull out! the roof deck and pool area was small but nice - wish the weather was good enough to warrant a dip in the pool for our visit.

we felt the time spent talking to the staff about "things to do" around Austin was a bit too much. I wish I didn't answer the additional phone call from the hotel to go over the timeshare situation.

The concierge (multiple) that pestered constantly to get us to agree to go to a meeting about a time share.

Great location close to retail and Whole Foods but far enough away from bars and music venues so that you don't get the full assault of the noise. Spacious 650 sq ft one bedroom apartment with clean and new fullsize Whirlpool appliances: washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, electric range. Large and practical kitchen sink. Vent hood doesn't vent outside- just recirculates. Small appliances included: Cuisinart toaster, (forgot brand) coffee-maker. Balcony, plus bathroom and kitchen fans (built into ceiling),and 2 ceiling fan-lights all ensure good ventilation for post-pandemic safety. Trash can be removed yourself with trash chute on odd-numbered floors. Apartment comes with single-serve Lavazza coffee, tiny Paul Mitchell shampoo/conditioner, small amounts of dishwashing liquid, dishwasher powder, laundry detergent - bring your own if you stay longer than 1-2 days. HVAC temp can be controlled yourself with digital thermostat. Small pool and outdoor area on 10th floor that is good for turning the kids loose in, but Pease Park is nearby if you want outdoor exercise. Fantasic, unobstructed views of the new Austin skyline that lights up beautifully at night - great if your room has balcony.

Experienced repeated time share marketing, not only at check-in but multiple follow-up phone calls from different telephone numbers, even an unsolicited loan offer in the mail for a time share purchase. Was warned by the other reviewers, but the marketing barrage was still more than I expected. Seems like you will be repeatedly solicited regardless of your lack of interest and your profile. For this reason, I will never book a time share as a hotel room again. Also, when booking on Booking.com, you will be charged by Club Wyndham the 1st night stay at time of booking as a pre-payment. You will then be charged, upon check-in, the full cost of the stay *not offset by the 1 night prepayment you have already made*. You must remember to ask for this 1 night prepayment back upon check-out, otherwise you would have inadvertently overpaid. Lastly, the lobby and elevators are saturated with perfume, you can avoid the perfume by entering/leaving with your key card on the 2nd floor.

Rooms were spacious and well equipped.

The location was really great. And the room was incredible. The check in staff was wonderful!

The bed sheets were dirty. I don’t know if they were just stained or they just didn’t put clean sheets on not sure. Secondly, after I checked in, I was bombarded by a salesperson trying to force me to go through a two hour long tour and pitch for timeshare. He literally chased me down as I was leaving to go to my room. I was just there to rent and have a good time in Austin, and was not there for sales pitch. That was really disappointing.

The room/suite was incredible! I was spacious, newly updated, clean and centrally located to where we wanted to be. The room/suite was extremely quiet and the outdoor area was wonderful and relaxing.

What I didn't like was the fact that "parking" costs $30 per night, and the resort did not have an in-house lounge/bar/restaurant. The parking spaces were extremely tight and my car door got dinged by another guest who "just HAD" to park next to me! :{

My room wasn't ready at my 4pm checking (they were nice enought to upgrade me to a better room). Booking.com should make it clear that you will be pushed to attend a timeshare preso at this place. The tile floors needed cleaning (Rm 1002). After walking on them in bare feet a black residue came off my feet when showering.
