Everything was fine during our stay in hotel nothing exemptional nor negative. As positive aspect I would point out how peaceful location is, really perfect for resting, but I was traveling for work and I couldn't fully enjoy it.

There was some construction work in front of hotel, hotel parking was full and we parked on some free area outside of official parking, but hotel invoiced using parking during our stay.

An exceptional weekend stay at the Insel Hotel. The premises, the room, the staff, the spa are amazing. The location is beautiful, with the lake view, very calm and relaxing overall. Great service at all levels, restaurant's menu is quite limited, however, everything we ordered was extremely tasty - specifically loved the three chocolates desert! The breakfast is very rich and tasty, everything is fresh. Highly recommend for stay and will be back! Thanks for the amazing stay!

Nothing to complain really, all was perfect. Just one small thing that I personally missed was the kettle in the room, but that's not a big problem.

the rooms are nice and clean, but not the standard of a 4 star hotel. A coffee maker or water heater in the room was missing.

A beautiful location on an island inside an old park with a lake view -- still close to Potsdam downtown. Everything modern and clean. Delicious dinner in hotel's restaurant.
