Location. Beautiful view. Nice staff. Has potential.

The room was dusty and smelling to mold. For the amount I've paid, it's not understandable as such.

Reception not manned full time and I needed to get away early. Ended up sending an email and leaving the key in the post box. Not ideal but hey, everything else is great.

Room was very cold, despite having the heating Aircon going. Bathroom was very old and took a very long time, as well as a lot of water for hot to come through. Location is nice, but quite far (5km) from nearest other thing, e.g. restaurant etc.. The staff were very friendly, but I've stayed in much better places for half the price. I'd say it's not recommended at the budget if you can move further on and get to another hamlet

Friendly and helpful staff, good Portuguese continental type breakfast that is served until 10am. Location wise it is 10sec from the river beach.

Rooms are a bit on the small side specially if you travel with kids that require extra beds. Parking can be very difficult in summer time between 10AM and 18PM.

We loved the location! This really is a special place where the river meets the mountais and provides us with a unique nature experience. The hotel has implemented tight COVID measures at the pool that allow for a tranquil experience and the breakfast is very good. The staff is helpful and very polite.

Our room was very small and our family could hardly fit. We stayed for four nights and no cleaning service was provided. We were informed on arrival that cleaning service is provided only to people staying over five nights... which is a bit uncomfortable in COVID times. This hotel is very expensive for the commodities offered (and in spite of the privilleged location). The hotel structure is old, in need of updates and repairs and it clearly was once a Youth Hostel or similar. So it feels difficult to understand the pricing; we were expecting something better and roomier. There is no Internet available and the TV is so old that our daughter commented on it. The hotel restaurant is not functioning this year and it is located far from any town, so guests are basically obliged to use the beach snack-bar... that has one vegetarian "dish" and no other healthy options; it also clearly applies only the absolute minimal and essential COVID requirements. The snack-bar is not the hotel, but it is inevitable for anyone staying here. We ended up going to the supermarket and buying snacks just to manage throughout the days. We would recomend the location to anyone but the hotel is just too expensive for the experience as a whole.
