Good facilities and comfy beds for a hostel

The place was good. The facilities were nice. But ...

The dog was really annoying. It would bark continuously at nearly everyone. So much, that I didn't want to go to the common areas. A hostel where you just stay in your room is not so much a hostel in my opinion. I would not stay there as long as the dog is behaving in that manner.

The welcoming is not good. And if you like the administration maybe you will love it, and your camera should better work, you litteraly have to scan 3 QR codes. Everything is very unpersonnal in this hostel. The Vibe is really selfish. THE BEST PART : i had a night bus, so had to leave my bags there, and in between wanted to surf. So they explained to me that it's 15 soles just to take a shower or use a bit the kitchen. So i managed to do everything elsewhere. Aaand when i came back exhausted, wanting to sit a bit before the bus, they said to me i had to pay 15 soles just to sit Somewhere in the hostel EVEN FOR 5 MINUTES. Welcome to the less human hostel possible, money money money !

Fantastic hostel, staff are helpful and friendly and the whole place just had a great vibe, I'd happily come back again and recommend it as one of the best hostels I've ever been to

Calm atmosphere Healthy breakfast Friendly staff

The building is very unique, it’s old but taken well care of, location is close to many great sites and restaurants, but still very quite and safe. The hostel is sparkling clean, sanitary norms on top levels, people working there are very friendly and helpful. THERE ARE privacy curtains on bed, don’t worry about that. Water in shower has good pressure and temperature. Beds are spacious, mattress a bit thin, but surprisingly I did have less back pain than after sleeping on my orthopedic super expensive bed😅 Breakfast is delicious and you can add more options to it for a very good price. The vibe is good: chill and quite for having a good rest, but still very easy to socialize if you want to. The Dog is just best cuddles ever, even if it’s not that easy to get his trust, but that worth it!

If you need to work there might be some issues with noise and WiFi, but you can ask staff to help you out and they will😉

Great location, nice and quiet, delicious breakfast. :) Room was clean and comfy. The staff is kind and helpful. Close to the beach, clifftop walk and parks, also shops and restaurants nearby. Paragliding and surfing nearby.

The breakfast was probably the best we've experienced in a hostel and the team working in the kitchen deserve a special mention. Our room was in the main building on the upper balcony which was very relaxed, comfortable and quiet. It had a fan which too was a big plus! It was also lovely to have the dog around 😊

Love this place. It's calm, very safe, close to the beach, spacious... Ended up staying much longer than I expected

The Hostel is great. We enjoyed the breakfast, the yoga room and that you can escape from the busy city.

The dog was running around crazy sometimes and was noisy.

I think one of the best hostels during my journey in central/south america! Its a very chilled and relaxed vibe, the staff was always super nice and helpful, lots of plants and nice interior, always clean bathroom and showers, kitchen always clean, breakfast good and healthy, dorm rooms had a lot of space and big lockers, comfortable beds. They have a couple of bicycles for rent.

Very friendly helpful staff, I had a small private room shared bathroom, it was fine for me. The breakfast was very good and healthy. Very relaxing place with nice relaxing music playing in common areas. Very much enjoyed my stay here.

The Dog was barking all the time and was really aggressive and running close to the customers. The Hostel is great but the Dog destroyed it a lot

Very serene hostel with a beautiful yoga &meditation room and good (but not free) breakfast. The hostel provides laundry service too.

The hostel's branding and name is based on a beautiful dog that stays in the hostel. As an animal lover I loved the idea, but during my stay there, the owners never took the dog out for a walk... The dog was stressed and I could sense this through its nervous barking at guests. Very unfortunate!

Unfortunately requested early check in as arrived at 6.00am and there was some confusion so wasn't able to until 3pm. But the staff were really friendly just not alot of communication during this time. Our dorm was in a different building to the main hostel, nice rooftop but not as nice a building or social spaces.
