We have stayed in every hotel in Guatemala City within this price range and Hilton was the last on my list. It is much further from the airport than the others and I assumed it was on a quiet estate. In actuality it is located on almost all sides by heavy traffic and noise pollution. The woman who checked us in was not very helpful and everything I asked her was contradicted by the man who brought our bags to the room who told us completely different things regarding times and specifics (he was wonderful). The one thing that really let us down about this hotel was the aweful music they have playing throughout the hotel foyers, dinning and pool areas. It is really bad. For a hotel of this stature and price i do expect something a little more classy in subtlety and musically. This aspect is a big failure standard in my opinion.

the colonial style was enchased by the decorations and the art work shown. the gardens were magnificent and the waterfalls very soothing. tThe staff were so welcoming and very well trained. the gift shop on location was excellent. the breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant excellent as well. the coffee shop provided a good way to just have something light. The hotel is way to relax in beauty.

Front desk staff went above and beyond when we couldn't find a taxi or an Uber. It's a nice place to stay. Room service was delicious after a long week of travel.

Been staying there for over a decade since it was first Quinta Real, then Vista Real, but since Hilton took over the stays are much less personable/warm. Staff I've known for years now seem "stiff" and almost "afraid" to talk to me close to the table at the restaurant the way they used to because, as one of the waiters said: "now we must remain standing at a distance from guests holding the coffee pot". Hilton is also opportunistic: they overcharged me $75.00 for 3 small hand towels that my niece forgot at the pool, but since they were "lost" they overcharged that exorbitant amount for low-quality small towels. Hilton should learn that they cannot be a cold, stiff, opportunistic hotel in a beautiful Latin American country full of nice, open, warm and friendly people. For the first time in over a decade, now that's it's a "Hilton", the Vista Real Hotel has lost its warmth and for the first time it did not feel like "home".

This place was super cool ! Beautiful property, the food at the restaurant was really delicious.
