La doble habitación que teníamos y la amabilidad del padre y el hijo.
Pues había varias cosas que no terminaron de gustarnos.
La primera que al llegar a la ubicación, no sabíamos dónde teníamos que llamar ya que no tienen un cartel con el nombre del hotel y están en una segunda planta. El timbre es minúsculo y del mismo color
La segunda es que no hay diferentes opciones de desayuno y es excaso (una tortilla de 1h, una loncha de jamón York y 2 panes)
La tercera es que el parking que tienen es demasiado justo y un coche un poco grande entra bastante bastante justo (nosotros con tan mala suerte que pinchamos)
La cuarta, que a nosotros al menos nos pareció fatal, es que tienen opción de pagar con datáfono pero te añaden un 6% lo cuál nos parece un abuso.

nos cambiaron de hotel sin previo aviso, llegamos donde habíamos hecho la reserva y nos mandaron a otro lugar, no tuvieron la decesencia de avisarnos con tiempo que no podíamos quedarnos donde habíamos hecho la reserva. Muy mala gestión y mala comunicación.

Nice location in Manga neighbourhood, 30 minutes walk into walled city, but off the touristy areas. Really nice staff who picked mangos for us every morning as an extra treat for breakfast. Also arranged earlier breakfast because we had to leave early in the morning. Comfortable beds and great with air-conditioning in the room. Would book again.
Could have had a shelf in the bathroom and some hooks on the wall to hang your clothes.

Foto's misleidend. Vreselijkste hotel van alle hotels waar ik ooit geweest ben. Geen water, heel gehorig en klam, kamer heel klein, wordt niet schoongemaakt, veren in bedden steken in je lijf. Vergaande glorie. Eigenaar (oudere man) onbeleefd. Niet naar toe gaan!

Es un lugar bastante cerca al centro, rodeado de tiendas para abastecerse de lo necesario y no gastar mucho en comidas.
Las habitaciones cómodas, la terraza donde te sirven el desayuno es fresca y bonita. La atención de Javier, Jose Luis y Cecilia, muy atentos en todo y muy amables. Y Jaime! Que nos recibía y ayudaba cuando llegábamos de madrugada de nuestros paseos. Todo excelente.

It was ideal for 2 nights before our flight. It was a walk from town which was fine during the day but I wouldn't recommend at night. Beds were comfortable. The son of the host who was often on reception was very helpful
Check in was difficult. Arrived late and there was no door bell or way to contact the host as door was pad locked. We didn't have data. Thankfully another guest arrived and let us in where we could sign onto the WiFi to let them know we had arrived. The shower water was cold. Breakfast was ok

It was amazing staying in Cartagena. The owner was super kind.

Unfortunately we had a misinformation with the owner’s son, which was working there.
We ask to pay by card and he said was fine. But by the check out, the father said it was not possible to pay by card… we had no cash on us, so he went somewhere to pick up a card reader and charged extra 10% of card fees (3% is kind normal in Colombia, but not 10%). Btw the supermarkets do not charge extra fee to by card.

la atención de los administradores es simplemente muy cálida, humana, de primera el chico de la recepción siempre atento la igual la dueña muy comprensiva definitivamente yo volvería y lo recomiendo 100% ….gracias por todo y hay lugares donde comer cerca

It was a good value for money. Basic, but clean and nice. Free parking, breakfast included. Nice host.
The rooms didn't even had a chair to sit on. Aircons were beasts. The road and the school nearby made the stay quite loud. But in reality, we were quite happy with everything.

Location. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Easy to take taxi to Historical Centre and other parts of the city.

Water is luke warm.
Not really a need for everyday hot shower in this weather but at least once I wouldn't mind to have hot shower.

The staff has been very friendly and helpful. Wifi worked, hooray! I liked the neighbourhood. It is a somewhat posher neigbourhood next to the old town and getsemani. There are some nice restaurants and places and enough supermarkets etc.
It is only a 15 minute walk to the touristy parts, in the heat that is quite a stroll though. Still, there are taxis and I enjoyed not staying in the middle of it,
