Apartment was clean, great location.

The bed frame slats in both rooms were broken/not in position making sleep very difficult. No air conditioning and pedestal fan was also broken. Garage door doesn’t work or lock.

Old and dated furniture. Soft saggy bed.

The location of this property is excellent. It is very close to the beach and to shopping centres. The view of the water from the windows is almost 270 degrees. It is not far to drive to Tweed Heads and Coolangatta or to other nearby beaches.

The first issue was the lack of wifi, when even the cheapest motels provide wifi for their guests. We couldn't watch any catch-up television or Netflix, etc, and, in addition, television reception was extremely patchy and there was never a time when all four channels could be viewed. The apartment itself needs a thorough clean and updating as well as time spent on maintenance. For instance, the lid of the kitchen bin is broken completely off and the curtains in the main bedroom need replacing as they are wearing through - as well as one having come off a runner.

The gentleman who took the after hours call was able to sort the situation with minimal fuss.

After confirming my late arrival and speaking with reception to reaffirm processes for collecting the keys after hours prior to arrival, I never received the code access to the locked box. I received several messages advising I hasn't picked up my keys but didn't receive code details to get the keys. After calling the after hours a number of times I finally spoke to a gentleman who provided the code over the phone and mentioned that the wrong message may have been loaded into the messaging system. He reassured me that the keys had been placed in the secure box, which they were.

I had stayed here previously. It was close to the shops and beach and had good views.

The ensuite bathroom was dirty - as if it hadn't been cleaned. The shower had balls of hair in it. The garage door roll-a-door mechanism wasn't working. Paradiso Resort reception didn't pass on this information to Kingscliff Accommodation.

unit want ready on time & power was disconnected during my stay pots pans & cutlery probably should be inspected more often i cleaned them before use in both units,could be dishwasher at fault which i did not use obviously understaffed

Location was great. Apartment was nice and spacious. Not super modern but was what we needed for a comfortable couple of nights.

Could have been cleaner. Upon arrival it looked reasonably clean, however throughout our stay we noticed dust, floors hadn't been vacuumed - there was actually broken glass on the carpet.

Location was fantastic and the front counter was very helpful - will stay again!

Check-in directions were not clear. There was nothing in check in instructions to direct us to Kingscliff Accommodation centre rather than straight to the apartment. No one answered the phone when we rang multiple times. It took us searching Kingscliff Accommodation centre by location, which actually took us to Paradiso resort, to actually find where to pick up the keys to the apartment. That's poor service on their end. If check-in directions were more clear and instructive, it would have not been such a stressful check in.

Apartment wasn’t like the photos, that was of another apartment I’m assuming. Completely outdated and not worth the money charged. Difficult to find where the apartments was as it was right back off the street with trees and couldn’t see anything, had to leave the car a street across and walk back in the dark to find the apartment block, no front entrance from road, couldn’t find how to enter via a tiny side street that almost looked incapable of travelling down, plus signs saying private property do not enter, couldn’t turn around, key didn’t open garage to get access to park car, no signage for apartment, called emergency number as it was 10 at night and we had a toddler with us, no one answered until after the 4th call. took us over an hour to get inside. car port was filthy, hallways were filthy carpet. apartment was hot and smelt, no aircon, there was a poo in the toilet when we arrived!! balcony not safe, gaps too big for a small child to fall under the railing, balcony was slanting off the balcony, all doors and windows felt unsafe. very low windows that our toddler could climb out of so had to keep windows shut. Shower was mouldy. Literally no where to park other than in the garage and on the second night we couldn’t even access that as a car had parked there.
