I absolutely loved the location and the views. I also love swimming in Cudgen Ck at high tide. I didn’t have my bike with me but I also love cycling on the boardwalk and all the way to Cabarita.

We were very happy there overall.

the location is amazing and the view was fantastic!

There was no wifi, therefore no channel’s like Netflix, ect (wouldn’t normally care however it rained for 2 days so we were stuck inside and the internet connection was terrible in the old brick building). Also the batteries in the remotes were flat with no spares so couldn’t even watch normal TV as we couldn’t change channels. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, hard, and in the main bedroom it is a very small double bed so we ended up sleeping in the kids rooms on the two singles pushed together. The sheets and pillowcases were clean however the doona covers were stained and dirty and probably haven’t been washed properly in ages, same with the pillows in the living room, they were pretty gross actually. There is no aircon or ceiling fans, standing fans are provided but they’re loud and just push around hot air and dust. The kitchen equipment was dirty, we had to wash a set of everything prior to use, there is also no dishwasher so who knows how well everything gets cleaned prior to use. There was no salt or pepper in the shakers, no oil or spray provided either, which is a bit of a let down. Also only one toilet roll was provided for 4 days. We don’t mind bringing our own things but when it says it’s a fully equiped house like an Airbnb (which you can also get this apartment via Airbnb) you would expect the bare minimum. Basically you are paying for the view from the balcony and the location as it was 400m from the beach and 800m from all the shops/cafes. Otherwise the place is run down, not clean, very basic and definitely not worth the amount expected!! Would not return to this place and would not recommend.

The listing failed to indicate the apartment did not have air conditioning or ceiling fans. As such for the hot weekend, this was the worst holiday ever The tv remote did not work so could not change tv channel The kitchen is fully equipped except a dishwasher. Everything is old and out of date This is a complete rip off for the money we paid. Never again

Spacious apartment, convenient location and great view.

The location was perfect, and the apartment was a great size. It had everything we needed. A short walk to the main strip of shops, cafes and eateries. Amazing outlook over the river, to the sea - even spotted whales from the balcony. What a lovely location for a holiday.

Quite absolute waterfront. Spotlessly clean.

No beds require doona with cover in winter, only had a sheet and light bedspread. A dishwasher would be ideal so all dishes are clean on arrival.

A little cold, a heater would be nice for those chilly winter nights.
