Perfect place to relax and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches on Koh Chang. Jebbie and her staff are very professionell, always friendly and there for you. Jebbie is extreamly helpful and she is a great hoast. We stayed in the beach front hut. Very beautiful spot, right next to the beach. It's basic but actually has everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and it was lovely to sit on the porch in the evening from where you have a view over the beach and you can watch the sunset. There are good restaurants along the beach, for breakfast, lunch and dinner. So the location of Bangboabeach Resort is perfect for a memoriable stay on Kho Chang.

+ Location is great ! Bungalow just on the beach (and it’s a good and swimmable one). That’s THE strong point of this hotel in my opinion. It’s remote, so you’ll need a scooter in order to access restaurants as there are limited options around (there is a pizza place not far though, which is amazingly good : Pizza House). + Each bungalow has a little terrasse + Staff is really attentive + Bed was confortable.

- Bungalow is basic. It did the job just fine for me, but don’t expect anything fancy., you’re paying for the location and that’s worth it imo. - Beware of sandflies ! They are everywhere. - I hesitated before mentioning this on Booking, as it’s not pertinent for everybody, but still decided I would. I extended my stay twice there, and as a frequent traveller, I get discounts from Booking sometimes. I decided I would use it for the second extension. I went to the reception, and asked Jebbie (over the phone, as only a staff was there at the reception) if she would match the discount. She responded she could offer a smaller discount but would not match it, and that I could book on Booking, that it was not a problem for her. It was just fine for me as well that she refused to match, I would do it on booking, and they would get the full price from there (minus the commission I guess). It even avoided me going to the bank. Anyway, I walked back to my room, and literally one minute later the room had disappeared from the internet. I texted her to know if the room was still available, and she told me the room was available. I then asked her to put it back on the internet, so that I could take it there, and she said she « did not have authority to help me ». I feel this was really strange she would do something like that so blatantly. I understand I’m just a wallet/tourist (and I am conscious the covid years were probably difficult), but this felt strange to be treated like an idiot just to extract extra money. I then decided to just go back to reception the next morning and pay the whole price without the smaller discount she had agreed to. It’s also worth mentioning they waited for me to pay before putting two bottles of water for me, which is a bit ridiculous tbh as I said I would pay. Look, I think it’s a good hotel, and the location only is totally worth it, but this kind of put a bad taste in my mouth.

It's nice being on the beach. The atmosphere is quite relaxed.

It could do with a kettle and cups in each hut. No hot water in the shower also. We liked the atmosphere. I guess it's just that there are resorts with free coffee and hot water and nice beds etc for a similar price.

You live on the beach! The huts are spacious and clean and the stuff was so nice and helpful (gave us a kettle so we could make formula milk for our baby, organised the ship to the next island...). There is a restaurant right next to it with good food all day long, so you don't have to leave the place if you don't want to (oh and there are a few massage parlours on the beach as well). Even though the beach is beautiful with shallow water there aren't many people around :)

Getting there with a car is not so easy, make sure to contact the reception beforehand so they know you are coming and can pick up your luggage from the little bridge And a fridge would be a nice add on :)

The location is great. And so is the staff, very nice and friendly. Valid as well for the ones at “Mr. A” restaurant, which offered delicious food every time.

Nothing to dislike. Would have been nice to have as well kayaks for 1 person and paddle boards.

Very friendly and clean. They also clean the beach which makes it so much better than neighbouring resorts. Good in contact and willing to help with everything that you need.

Beautiful beach to swim and sunbath. Bungalow was nice and clean with a very comfortable bed.

This place has to be one of our favourites...the staff were amazing. Just a stone's throw away from the beach (we did get a free upgrade) This place is a slice of paradise & we will definitely be back asap. We were there out of season but still had a choice of places to eat (yuyu restaurant) did the best green curry I have ever had. Next to us was Mr A Cafe, another great restaurant/food/drinks. If you walk a bit further up the beach, there were other places we didn't get around to trying.

Nothing...i can honestly say, we had the best time. So relaxed. Swimming, eating, drinking, along with plenty of massages. What's not to love?

We visited at a time of year when there were very few tourists so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. The restaurants along the beach were fantastic - the food and cocktails were terrific. We cannot say enough about how great our hosts were. They bent over backwards to accommodate us.

Location is super perfect. Staff and owner Jebbie is truly the best. So friendly and personal atmosphere. Also the partner restaurant next to (Mr A Cafe) is really good with a friendly atmosphere. Strongly recommend this resort. One of the better ones indeed.

The accomodation was very nice, with good equipments. The host was super helpful, friendly and showed us best places to go and arranged trips to koh waii and koh kham. Next to the bungalows there was a really good restaurant with the best food at koh chang. The area at the beach with a lot of trees was incredible to wake up and have a dive in the ocean. I would totally recommand this place for anyone who is visiting Koh Chang!

The only thing that good be better is the shower in cabin 8 but the one where we stayed for the most of it was super!

Beachfront and lovely view of nearby islands and Bangbao pier. Excellent quality food restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Chill and relax. I'm a frequent visitor.

Superbly quiet, fantastic views, very comfy beds, beautiful bathroom with top of the line Kohler fittings. Couldn't fault it. 10 out of 10.

No tea/coffee making facilities (which is weird considering the huge amount that has clearly been spent on the interiors of the bungalows), the Song Teaw Mafia, and the Restaurant next door (which I was told is not actually part of the resort) - the owner is pushy to the point of being intrusive, and seems to know only one method of cooking - throw a handful of chillis at it so it is inedible.

For me, the perfect beach accommodation. Clean and comfortable huts, facing the sea but in the shade of palm trees. In my option, located in the best beach on Koh Chang
