very smelly bathrooms, shower drains clogged. doesn't at all look like as it was shown on the website, bedroom furniture was broken and insufficient. used and old stuff in the kitchen and backyard looked like a junkyard. I would not recommend it to anyone. Booking.com should investigate before they put any property on their website. I am disappointed with booking.com

We messaged the organiser/owner in the morning to be informed to come late afternoon.

Not sure what and where to start about this flat, which is in the middle of nowhere. It's located on the outskirts of a new town in an industrial surrounding. We paid London prices for a very dated place and very messy corridor (pics attached). The front door lock was broken and was not fixed (very high risk for tourists staying in an apartment). The flat was not ready till 6 pm, even after several chasers. Very disappointing and not a very good start to a holiday. We were travelling with an elderly, and a kid and all requests (toilet seat, Bathroom arrangement etc.) were discussed and agreed upon months in advance. All requests were fulfilled 3 days after arrival after multiple chasers. Zero noise cancellation effort made in the apartment both from top\botton flats and outside. The bed and Sofa were filthy (as shown in the pics) and very uncomfortable. Squeaky noises as if someone is turning the screw. The balcony of the flat opens into the neighbour's courtyard and bedroom. The only good thing about this place was Luis (Organiser, I guess), who was very polite and apologetic for the inconvenience caused. Note to Booking.com: It would be good if you would invest and investigate the state of the property and not go on smashing photos as they are very misleading. .

Luis is a very Friends host and communication with him was excellent. The holder of the showerhead was broken and the second bathroom did not have a shower curtain. So there was water over the whole bathroom floor after showering. When I told him that he came the other day and fixed it.

The apartment was not clean. No cups to drink tea or coffee. We used the glases.

The balcony in the sun was the best part :)

Very cozy, very good pub (Dois Corvos) very close. Fived minutes walk from the Tejo.

The pictures does not tell the truth. Place was very dirty! I can't recommender for anyone!

Apartment was clean, comfortable and near downtown. Joao have us all kind of useful information about the area that came in handy

Even though the apartment was awesome, the bedroom on the attic was not very well insulated and we heard noises in the middle of the night. These noises (like the train) we're only heard in the attic, nowhere else in the house. Only complaint we had

Luiz is a fabulous host and easy to contact.

It has two bathrooms, lot of space, quiet, safe area and all rooms are clean. There is a small shop around the corner to get important things like beer and water. Beds are comfortable. Our host, luis, was super nice and his english is excellent! Nice area to chill out next to the sea, easy to reach by feet. Also transfer from airport to the apartment was super. I can definitely recommend this apartment and would book it anytime again!

Locks at doors are sometimes a bit difficult to open but they are safe. Shower and toilet flush is not the best but everything works.
