Staff and owners were friendly and the room itself was nice and the breakfast was nice.

A traditional shower is nice to connect with nature but it’s not for me. I would have also liked the bathroom area to be a bit cleaner. The room was a bit small also.

This is heaven and Paradies! 😍 The perfect place to heal your body and your soul. Bumbum and his wife are the best hosts I ever met!! It's like family!! This place is not far from ubud but very quiet and you can see sunset while eating a perfekt meal!! 😍 They are angels!!

The dormitory beds are very squeaky and they only have a hot and a cold shower. No way to set the temperature

Family run- Boom Boom & Sri make you feel at home! Idrally located above tegallalang & also for the late nite hikes to Mt Batur sunrise. They're making a new dorm with a view as well plus the pool over the rice field for the the price of a dorm bed makes it a steal. They got individual bamaboo huts overlooking the pool & rice fields & the forest too with stunning sunset views.

The hosts provided a complimentary drink of choice upon arrival and were so hospitable throughout the stay. Dorms were spacious and quiet and very clean. Good Wi-Fi and the restaurant provides super tasty food!! Good recommendations from Sri and Bombom for places to visit around Ubud and they even provided me with special offerings to bring to the temple with me and a packed lunch

Booked a 4 dorm bedroom, when we came there late at night we found out they don’t have a 4 dorm bedroom(this is an option to choose on booking.com) , only a 16 dorm.. booked the hostel for 2 nights, only stayed 1. They gave us the money for the second night back.

Disclaimer: this is a review for the hostel, not the bungalows. And that exactly is the problem: the pictures awake the sense that the hostel is one of the Bungalows by the pool. But that is not the case, the hostel is 200m away in a secluded little street of the village. The room has 16 beds i think, hardly any windows which makes it pretty dark and only one functioning warm water bathroom. It was still a pleasant stay, but it's just that I expected something else from seeing the pictures. Stuff was superb and overly friendly and the area seemed nice as well.

I had the best time in Bali Bamboo Jungle Huts. Sri, Bombom and the staff were so kind and welcoming, they couldn't have been any nicer. So helpful when organizing trips, drives etc. Breakfast was delicious as well as food in the restaurant. Staying in the huts was a great experience and it is such a peaceful place. I can't wait to go back!

Beautiful grounds, a serene haven. The staff was very kind and helpful. You are always treated with kindness and respect. Very nice pool and common areas.

Dorm room can be improved. Very minimal. Dark lighting, no place to put luggage, bathrooms are a little dirty.

I liked the kindness and generosity of the owners. The food they serve in their restaurant has great taste. They received me with a nice drink and often offered more. They provided me a very good bike to roam around Ubud. The view is amazing. Everything is very clean and comfortable.

It's really impressive to climb the ladder to the hut with window walls. On the walls you can find lizzards looking like geckos and from a distance you hear the chanting from a thanksgiving ceremony. The infinity pool heads straight into the backyard rice field and the showers are really Balinese, almost open air. The family who runs it is most forthcoming, caring, entertaining and lovely. Ubuds countryside is full of welcoming, shining, heartwarming people and such a relieving contrast to the partying, touristy city. Oh, did I mention the bed sheets? So smooth, I never wanted to get out there.

You shouldn't be weak in walking, as the stairs are quite steep and the ladder difficult to climb with a backpack or things to carry, even though it contributes to the charme. Also you shouldn't expect to be deep in the jungle than rather in between village homes in one of the plots with a beautifully made garden. But like this you can get to know the village life much better.

Made and Sri Rahayu were so nice and helpful, very friendly hosts! We enjoyed their company a lot! Also, the location in the jungle had the best view! So unique and beautiful, thank you, that was a pleasure. ;)

Thé hostel was not nice at all. I’m sure it’s better for the bungalows. But the hostel was not cleaned at all. You couldn’t even have the WiFi there

the cutest place to stay for an unwind and jungle experience. the owners are just amazing

perfect place to get away from the city. quiet, peaceful and have a very good view. The food was also very nice. Far from the city of Ubud, but the owner has scooters so you can rent them to go around. Ask the owner to take you to the wood, they have a lot of activities rich in local balinese culture. Would love to come back later for the private room next to the pool!

more staff required to help during the peak period, so the cleaning can be done more often.
