the breakfast was average and expected more.

lack of staff and made the service in the restaurant very slow. a very Indian style of menu i expected more balinese indonesian.

The service at the main restaurant, had to cancel some desert orders because they forgot some orders and some took 1hour +. Also had to leave our Breakfast to go because it wasn't prepared in time as agreed the night before. They have very limited staff to execute their offerings.

The Hotel was really into a remote area with no access to Markets or any restaurants, even the Breakfast options were not good they were asking for one meal per person for breakfast thats the first time I have seen in any resort, but there was an in-house Asian restaurant to the rescue for Indians or vegetarians , the taste was ok but at-least, you can have some food.. lol

We loved our stay at Kenran. Breakfast was excellent with great variety and food at restaurant was also very good! The pool is great, scenery is beautiful and property is well maintained. Housekeeping staff were very friendly and efficient!

Due to the unique resort design, there are a lot of steps from the rooms to the restaurant/reception. The benefits of the scenery outweighed this for us, but visitors with reduced mobility may find this difficult.

Our rooms were AMAZING but the hotel itself just wasn’t up to scratch. The staff were inadequately trained, my two massages were frankly appalling, the two pools were FREEZING cold (including the ‘hot’ tub) and service on the whole, was poor. One night we waited 50 minutes for four cocktails to arrive and on another, 45 mins for our first course food, with only one waiter on duty in a fairly full restaurant. Such a shame - I suspect that the Kenran is a covid victim, brutal really. BUT we whizzed off to Lombok after a week & had THE MOST incredible time at a much, much better hotel.

The location was beautiful and views are lovely at this hotel, most staff were friendly and attentive, the reception staff were always helpful and kind, they met all of our requests such as flowers in our bath and floating breakfast which I would recommend. We used our 15 minute complimentary massage vouchers on our last day and that was amazing the lady was very friendly I only wish we went sooner. The baths are gorgeous and there are jars of bath salts next to the baths which is a lovely touch.

The service by the pool is quite slow, and most of the time you have to ask for a drink rather than being offered which I usually get from 5* hotels. The hotel is as someone previously said a ‘ghost town’ there isn’t much of an atmosphere, the same two cds are played by the pool and most of the songs are depressing. The food selection at the restaurant isn’t great considering there is only one open restaurant at the hotel. It would be nice if there was another restaurant with a varied menu and some entertainment in the evenings to keep guests occupied as most guests had dinner and went back to their rooms. A lot of the hotel doesn’t seem to be finished or open so it does get quite boring if you don’t rent a car or scooter to get around as the hotel is in a quite remote location with no ATM. The hotel rooms are quite damp and require some tidying up with cracks in walls, holes in ceilings with wires sticking out, leaking sink etc which I wouldn’t expect for the price we paid.
