a beautiful house with an incredible view

I wish I could rate this higher! This place is the most gorgeous place we have ever stayed in. From the second we arrived we were welcomed by the loveliest hosts Shiva and Ayesha! They treated us like we were their family, and welcomed us with the tastiest passionfruit juice on the incredible balcony with the most gorgeous views. We only stayed for 1 night but wish we could have stayed for many more. We were on our honeymoon and Ayesha decorated the whole room with flower petals, candles and a gorgeous towel decoration, we were so overwhelmed with their dedication and commitment to making our stay so memorable. They gave us a tour of the rest of the building and it is just stunning, cannot wait to see the upstairs finished. This holiday home is just breathtaking and we couldn’t stop staring at the view, waking up to the views out of our own balcony was insane. The small touches like offering to take us to locations, the offer of dinner (which after breakfast we wish we had), fantastic recommendations of things to do in Kandy that we definitely would have missed and even having medicine when my husband felt a bit poorly and bite cream! They supplied binoculars which made my husbands day as he loves watching wildlife and birds! We stayed up talking and chilling with the amazing hosts on the balcony for a lot of the evening, they honestly couldn’t have made us feel more welcome than they did. The bed was extremely comfortable with a mosquito net and a fan provided. Tea and Coffee were offered constantly and they genuinely couldn’t be more inviting. We woke up to an incredible spread for breakfast, hoppers, coconut filled pancakes, chicken, dahl, eggs, chapatis, selection of fruits, teas and coffees. We were so impressed that we didn’t want to leave. The location is a little out from Kandy, but the views and area is absolutely worth it! Thank you Ayesha and Shiva- we cannot wait to see you guys in the near future.

the hosts were very welcoming, we came late at 10 pm and they served us with tea in the evening and we had to go really early next day and hosts served us a great sri lankan breakfast. It was so calm there and cool at night so you don’t need any AC in this area.

This was my soul hospital. Shiva and Ayesha are incredibly kind and accommodating hosts. I felt genuinely cared for. I lived in a corner room with large panoramic windows and a spacious shower room. Hot water was always there, the pressure was good. You will have a mosquito net and drinking water. Any need you have will be fulfilled. The common area has a balcony with a great view where you can sit to work or have a cozy chat with the hosts and guests, or just enjoy the beautiful scenery. Ayesha is an amazing cook! My best meals in Sri Lanka. Shiva took me on a tour and told me a lot about Sri Lanka and its people. I am very grateful and happy to have met such wonderful people, it really warms my heart. I would love to come back next time with my husband and stay longer! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

The most welcoming hosts you will ever meet! Other than that: clean room, a stunning view and a great dinner and breakfast. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and helped us by buying the last train tickets to Ella. We were lucky to stay here.

The views were majestic, the room was very clean, the hosts have very big hearts and are always smiling. They are prepared to really help you during your stay.

The hosts are The best. Fixe motorbike for us and made our stay very Nice. Super Nice breakfast and The view is amazing.

Perfect little place to start our train journey to Ella. Ayesha was lovely, and her husband. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed, her husband even organised our train ticket for us and ayesha dropped us to the station in the morning. The house is beautiful, so peaceful. Comfiest bed we had during all of our travels. Ayesha cooked us a lovely breakfast the morning we left, she gave us so much food we couldn’t eat it all. Thanks for having us ❤️
