Good area short walk in to town

we had a family room and it was lovely for the 3 of us. the breakfast was excellent with lots of choices. the host and hostess very helpful with suggestions of places we can walk to, and for dinner. we were on the second floor and seemed very private and quiet. Also the hostess gave us a short cut direction to the sea and that is what I wanted, a short 5 minute walk and you are at a beach and long walk - Grattan beach
I liked everything. just to say though, if helpful to someone else, while we were ok with the 2 floors and stairs up and down, as we travelled with back packs, if we had bigger bags, or could not do the stairs, I am sure the host and hostess would help. best to travel light anyway.

Bridie is the best. So engaging and helpful to all of her guests. She helped us with places to go and see in Galway, and she was a joy with which to just sit and visit. My wife and I had a great time in Galway, and we really enjoyed our stay at Sli Na Mara.

Friendly and helpful owners. Nice breakfast. Convenient location.
Triple room is up two flights of stairs in an attic, and we (tall couple) had limited head room. Private bathroom is across the hallway, and we had to unlock our bedroom door when we wanted to use the bathroom.

Bridie is a fantastic host and the place is lovely. The rooms are fully equipped, very clean, quiet and comfy. The breakfast is excellent and the B&B is a perfect location to visit Galway as well as going around. Highly recommended!

A wonderful stay! Their home is so welcoming and comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Bridie and George are amazing hosts, nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is fab. Amazing location too, really I can't fault anything! We can't wait to come back!!

Super comfortable place, just a short walk from the city centre or the pier. Bridie was so nice and friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome all the time. We couldn’t have chosen a best place and will be the top of our list if we ever visit Galway again.

Very clean and tidy place, warm and well organized welcome in Covid times. Great breakfast, comfortable place. It's a short walk into town which we knew before and didn't bother us at all. Definitely a recommendation.

It was a very good location, very clean and comfortable, I had a best sleep in there. The breakfast was very nice as well everything we need it for a good start for a day!

Very friendly hosts and very welcoming. Clean and tidy room. Ten minutes walk to Eyre Square. Accommodated us with charging our electric car. Would stay again.

All was OK. The position (10 min walk to city center, bar, pub w/ midollo, restaurant and shopping Street…..The friendly host and the breakfast - we ll come back here again 2 nights more after visit Aran islands.
