Comfortable, nice room incl. own bath, appriciate everything

Il bagno è moderno e molto confortevole con tutto il necessario a disposizione. La camera grande e spaziosa, il quartiere molto tranquillo.

Non abbiamo trovato il sapone per le mani… In più nonostante non abbiamo avuto alcun tipo di problema la camera è sullo stesso piano della camera dei proprietari ed il bagno confina con la loro camera! In più non c’è alcun tipo di chiusura privata per la camera. Avremmo preferito una chiusura nella nostra stanza per privacy nonostante non abbiamo avuto alcun tipo di problema.

The first impression is the last impression. I had a terrible experience at this property so I don't have any good things to say.

After the long drive of 6 hours, all I wanted was to have a comfortable stay at Master Bedroom-Private Bath, in Washington DC. Unfortunately, I discovered the presence of bed bugs in my room, which made my experience highly unpleasant and uncomfortable. I immediately noticed bites on my body and, upon further inspection, found evidence of bed bugs in the bedding. This is completely unacceptable and not what I expected during my stay after a long day. So I tried reach out to the owner but it directly went to the voice mail. So without having second thoughts I left the property and went through to hurdle of finding a new place to stay nearby at midnight. I kindly request a full refund. I believe this is a reasonable resolution given the circumstances and the inconvenience caused. Additionally, I would appreciate knowing how you plan to address this issue to ensure the comfort and safety of your future guests. I have also attached pictures of the bedbugs found on the bed and the chair. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Very clean and great location

There was no access to a place to eat the food we had (we ordered takeout) as far as I could tell.

The room is in a nice house in a great location, close to the Tenleytown metro, very safe neighborhood, with easy parking on the street. The bedroom is spacious and comfortable and has an attached bathroom with washer/dryer. There is a microwave and fridge in the room and plenty of closet/drawer space.

This would have been a great stay except for two problems: bed bugs and dishonest dealings by the host. I paid for five days in advance. I came home late on the third night and noticed I was covered in bug bites. I had been wearing long sleeves and pants all day, but I had bites all over both arms and legs and on my neck and shoulders. I did an online search and saw that bed bugs tend to bite in a zigzag pattern, which is exactly what they did on my left arm. The next morning I showed the host the bug bites on me, but he vehemently denied that it was bed bugs. I didn't even ask for money back for the three nights I was there. I just asked for a refund for the two additional nights that I had been planning to stay, and he has still not refunded my money. I understand that bed bugs are expensive for facilities to deal with, and I told him that I wasn't looking to leave a bad review. If he had just refunded my last two nights and assured me he was going to deal with the problem, I wouldn't have left a review at all. However, he twisted this into an idea that I give him a ten star review and he refund my last two nights in exchange for that. I did not have time to argue with him, as I had to leave for a lunch meeting. A few days later when I was back home, he called me up--after not answering my request for a refund for several days--and again tried to get me to give him a ten star review. When I told him that I would not do that and that if he didn't refund me I would be forced to give a bad review, he then accused me of trying to extort him. I wasn't even trying to get money back for the time I was there, just for the two nights I didn't stay there!

It's a lovely space, well kept and comfortable, in a beautiful residential neighborhood, with easy access to public transportation.

Excellently located in beautiful neighbourhood with sufficient parking place and friendly host.

Very little, except that the bed was a bit soft to our liking.
