- Iron made scratches to my expensive t-shirt. Definitely needs to be replaced! - Towels aren’t fresh, they smell really really bad that we couldn’t use them properly - No dish washing gel to wash the dishes (which is essential when you get a studio)

It’s inside the complex. The studio is very cozy and clean. Mr. Sherif speak good English and friendly. Me and my husband were enjoy our stay there.

When making my reservation, I first opted for another apartment which was a little cheaper but after seeing the penthouse with roof terrace I asked them if they were willing to make me the penthouse at the price of the other (40 euro discount for 4 nights) as I was looking for an apartment for 6 stays of 4 to 5 nights for the next 2 months and they told me that was not possible as this penthouse was brand new. So I booked with reall pleasure… Pleasure which will have turned very quickly into a nightmare! On our arrival, we quickly noticed that the premises are not very clean, the kitchen is dirty, the furniture has traces of grease, there are traces on the kitchen ceiling, the shutter of the terrace s 'opens with difficulty and there is only one teacup and no breakfast bowl and the floor is quite greasy with a lot of marks. Of course, they sent their housekeeping staff very quickly to do the cleaning and bring bowls and cups, but the rest is much more serious! Indeed, we leave the premises quickly being expected elsewhere. It is only the next day that we contemplate the disaster of the place in daylight. The shutter to go on the terrace is very difficult, hard for me and impossible for my wife ! The frames and windows are dirty and have paint stains everywhere. No cleaning material or essential kit (kitchen paper, salt, pepper, olive oil, etc..) We note that the private terrace is accessible by everyone in the building and in the compound since the doors of the buildings are wide open. With that, we have to leave the appartement and we can’t close the sliding door anymore and I realize the condition of the frames and windows ... dirt, full of dust and sand in the sliding. They have never been cleaned for months ! We call the agency who sends us a person to fix the window... incapable of fixing the locking system must be completely changed.

The bathroom is sketchy and dirty, walls are greasy, ceiling very dusty (I rubbed part of it with toilet paper which turned black color quickly and lot of dust fell. The window sash has probably not been cleaned since it was installed and stickers are still present with glue drips. Cables hang from the TV. The safe is rickety and unusable because it is closed...no one came ! A gas cylinder to supply the stove inside the apartment. I've never seen this in my life. The floor is dusty and dirty. The second day, we saw the surroundings... The neighboring terrace is cluttered with construction rubbish cables run over our heads. The walls of the staircase are dirty, the elevator is very dirty still with protective stickers falling a part. The front door clicked/vibrated all the time. There was a slit of 1 cm between door and frame and let the wind pass. I secured the door with a gym belt so that it wouldn't slam The 3rd night we didn’t sleep, we fought against an army of mosquitoes. We were more or less awake from 11pm to 6.30am and killed over 30. At 6:30 am, I noticed that the mosquito net in the bathroom, hidden by the swinging window, was torn. I placed a ball of paper to block the hole. We didn't stay in the apartment on the 4th night and stayed at the Westin Hotel where we usually stay. I communicated my dissatisfaction to the rental agency representative on the 2nd day. He didn't care more than that and replied, "I totally understand you sir, I'm really sorry and it’s not acceptable for me that you are not happy. I hope this points doesn’t effect your review on booking.com… ” The photos speak for themselves. This agency hasn’t done anything to try to alleviate all problems I pointed out to them with supporting pix. I am still in shock, how can they hope for a single moment that I can be silent !
