Spacious Main Street Retreat ~ Backyard ~ Parking!
Main Street Retreat è una casa di 5 camere da letto rinnovata, colorata e confortevole in attesa del vostro soggiorno. All'interno c'è una cucina ben arredata, due ampi soggiorni con nuove TV a schermo piatto con ROKU per Netflix e divertimento in famiglia con biliardino e tavoli da air hockey. All'esterno c'è un grande prato ben curato, molta privacy, bar a gas, buca per il fuoco nel cortile e zona pranzo all'aperto fuori dalla cucina. Da non perdere il ponte privato al largo della camera da letto principale che è un rifugio caratteristico.
All'arrivo vi aspettano caffè, tè e prodotti per la colazione continentale per rendere la prima mattina un po 'più confortevole.

Amazing communication with host! We had several family members staying, not all the same days and ages ranging from 30 to 98…. So a LOT of questions. So responsive and helpful!
Two things to note… bedroom configuration is not standard. Worked for us but might not for everyone. Ask.
Driveway (as we were told) is a bit challenging and street parking works better.
Great location. Clean and just as presented. Absolutely SUPER host!

We had siblings visiting, and this was the perfect rental for the reunion. What a wonderful find. Not only was it close to the darling town of Edmonds, but we were able to use the indoors and outdoors to the fullest. The game tables engaged every age. We put up a volleyball net and there was room for bocci ball white badminton was going in the yard. Also, the bonfire pit was enjoyed for hours. We made some wonderful memories in this very special home.

Property was perfect for what we needed! Owner was very accommodating and helpful, we had no issue during our stay, we will definitely be back! We had so much fun this past weekend that we decided to do it quarterly! Thank you for everything!

The road noise was to be expected and it really wasn’t that bad. The owner has that noted on the house details. The location made up for any noise we heard during the main travel hours. We used Edmonds as home base for travels to the San Juan islands, Mt Rainer, Seattle and some wineries. Chateau St Michele winery was one I highly recommend. We were close to the town of Edmonds which is a wonderful waterfront village. The walking trails near the house were such a treat one morning. Washington is a beautiful state to explore. Highly recommend the house while you explore it.

Overall the stay was good. Scott was amazing! The house is being sold so guessing some of the renovations needed are not going to happen. Overall it was a good house, fair price and we have NO complaints.

This place isn’t perfect but it was great for the price and the location to Edmonds. It is on a busy street but besides backing out, which is doable and warning the little ones, it wasn’t any big deal. The kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms were clean. Beds were comfortable and had a great TV area downstairs.
The foos ball table and the hockey table were in ok shape, kept the kids busy. The deck was a little creeky and had some splitters.
The walk through the trail was fun and the kids loved it!
The bedrooms configuration were a bit weird. It worked because my daughter’s family stayed in the master that has a room attached that her two boys stayed in. One room downstairs doesn’t have any windows.
Overall we had a great time. My family was in town for my son’s wedding so we weren’t there a lot. Edmonds has a lot to offer and it was a short drive to where we needed to go. The host was very responsive.

The place was great for a large group, there were 7 of us. It was roomy and clean with a large backyard with patio and BBQ which we used.

Nice little house updated and clean. We appreciated all of the fans that were provided in the house as we were there during a heatwave. The owner responded in a timely manner when we messaged him.
The driveway was a little tricky as it has a rather sharp slope from the sidewalk. Our rental van, which sits low, actually bottomed out and got stuck the first time we pulled into the driveway. We were able to get the van onto the driveway by coming in on an angle but something to be aware of. The firewood bin was empty, so we bought our own wood. When we mentioned that to the owner, he was very accommodating and refunded us some money to cover our purchase.

Here are the pros and cons about this property, in our opinion.
Pros - The house can sleep a lot of people. The manager (might be the owner) Scott is available, responsive and easy to communicate with. They have an outside fire pit that is nice to sit around. The house is good if your expectations are for an equivalent of a 3 star property. For us… we had higher expectations due to the amazing reviews the property had and the description so we were a bit disappointed.
Cons - The property is located on a very busy street and you hear the constant noise from cars - day and night. They obviously know it is an issue as they stock their bathrooms with ear plugs for the guests.
If there is a heat wave, which there was while we were there, the house has no air conditioning and it was extremely hot and stuffy and hard to cool down the house even in the evening. It is however, unusual for it to be so hot in this area.
The house is currently for sale so if you make a reservation and the house sells, would your reservation be cancelled?
The house is in somewhat of disrepair. When opening the blinds the entire blinds fell down so we couldn’t use them during the trip. When opening an armoire, the door came off the track at the top and fell off… and really could have hurt someone. The house is tired looking, cheaply done and decorated.
They also don’t explain that one bedroom has zero windows and another bedroom can only be accessed by going through another bedroom and the bedroom with the twin bed is also tiny.
Other people seemed to have loved this property but for us… not so much.

I highly recommend staying here! There were adequate spaces for us to hang out without feeling cramped. The large outdoor space was a huge plus.

Perfect !
Our son was getting married and this house was the perfect location for us. We worked hard for several days to get their home ready for a wedding so it was great to come to such a comfortable home. We had just the right amount of room! There was one sissies that once I contacted the owner their response was immediate and it was taken care of. The home was clean and comfy with plenty of hangout space. We will stay again!

lovely property comfortable for large group. Location is wonderful... you can walk to town (1.3) miles and it is next to walking trails through woods. Only downside it is a main road and very noisy with car traffic. ear plugs were supplied and worked well

Relaxing Girls' Getaway
Wow! Five wonderfully comfortable bedrooms. Three clean and well-stocked bathrooms. Two inviting rooms to lounge in (living room upstairs and family room downstairs). We had everything we needed to enjoy each other's company for a long overdue, friends getaway. We cooked in the kitchen and gathered in the dining area and appreciated the time together in such relaxing surroundings. Loved the walk to and around the pond, too.

Good location
This was a good location as we have family in Mill Creek and also fairly close to the downtown area. Street traffic is pretty noisy during the day and the steep driveway for off street parking was manageable. Nice comfortable beds with everything we needed.

Nice home to rent
We enjoyed our stay. Owner was very responsive and nice to talk to. The 3rd bedroom on main floor is located inside bedroom 1 which was different and a surprise. Over all everything else looks like the photos. My husband loved the pillows on the bed (king room). The kids loved playing the games especially charades. Only negative its on a very busy street. When you are trying to enter or exit the drive way and its sloped so its hard to see traffic coming around corner fast.

Great stay in a convenient location
My 9 year old daughter and I stayed at the property while attending a ballet competition at the Edmonds Performing Arts Center. The location was extremely convenient, and my daughter loved the air hockey and foosball tables, as well as the access to Disney+. We were really happy that the property has a waffle maker, as my daughter literally eats waffles every day for breakfast. We had groceries delivered by Instacart the night we arrived, which was very convenient. We also enjoyed the other amenities provided. As mentioned by other commenters, this property is located near a relatively busy road, so there is a fair amount of road noise. The property owners provided disposable ear plugs in every bathroom, but if you are a light sleeper, you’ll want to stay in one of the quieter bedrooms. The property is convenient to both Seattle and Bellevue, where we had other events. Overall, we had a great time!

Charming house in a great location
Main Street retreat is in a great location. Less then 5 min drive to town with lots of restaurants and shops. Close enough to downtown Seattle too if you want to go to the market. Maybe a 20 min drive. House had plenty of space for my family. The only “negative” would be close proximity to the road so you do hear road noise often. Wasn’t a big deal for my group but could be a concern for those with smaller children. Would recommend this location.

Perfect Edmonds location
We had such a wonderful time. The location is perfect and it was easy to get to the downtown area and to the highway. We had plenty of space and the trail out back was beautiful. We will definitely plan a trip back!

The property was well maintained, clean, and had all the furnishings and supplies for a comfortable stay. The owner was easily reachable and very prompt in replying to our messages. We enjoyed our stay and recommend to others.

Comfy beds, plenty of paper products and toiletries, lots of kitchen accessories,....if we had a larger group, more silverware would have been needed, but there was plenty for our group of seven!The house is on a commonly used street and slightly on a curve, so you have to be careful backing out of or into the driveway. The driveway was also "peaked", so our rental sedan would bottom out unless we drove in at an angle. Our traveling partners had an suv, and they did not experience this problem.The house is in a great location, and we took advantage of the walking trails each morning. The only thing I would tighten up are the floorboards throughout the house...they are creaky for those sleeping on the bottom floor. Other than that, nothing but good things to say about the house and the host!

No stress-great place to stay for a wedding!
Our son was getting married and we wanted a place to stay with family members. This was perfect. A home is better than a hotel for family coming together. Kitchen and living room upstairs with great play room/gathering room downstairs. Lots of bedrooms and bath! Thank you!

Great location and lots of space
This home away from home has everything you need for a large family. My family of of 7 stayed here comfortably and loved being close to everything Edmonds had to offer. We hope to visit the area again soon and would definitely stay here again.
