The property manager & housekeeping staff were very good to work with. House was clean. The house had multiple safety issues. 2nd floor deck was rotted & unsafe. Lower bedroom light didn’t work- flickered like a strobe light. Lower floor bathroom had extremely unsafe high walled tub with nothing to hold onto while step in & no nonskid strips on bottom of tub. Hinge broken on kitchen cabinet.

Very easy to communicate, the host replies very fast! Anything we need the host was gladly to help out. House was very clean. great area to relax! We will be back soon!

Great location. Everything you need is there. We were short on towels but property had a washer so all good

We were only there Fri-Sunday. We had no intention of cooking, but the kitchen was fine. We all thought it would have been better to design the home with the Kitchen and living area on the main floor, but we didn't cook. The beds and baths were nice. Little things to improve would be: the upper bath shower didn't drain well; the lower bath shower fixtures were very loose, but functional. Both tubs could use a non-skid mat to reduce the risk of falls in the tub. The lower bedroom needs more lighting or brighter lights. There was no wine opener in the kitchen. And the fridge ice maker seems to be leaking on the floor. Still a nice place and would enjoy staying in it again. And in warmer weather so we could enjoy the lake more!

House was perfect with boat dock. We hope to stay again.

We enjoyed the house, it met our needs. Owner was easily reached and answered all our questions. A few suggestions: couple chairs on patio needed repair or replacement, bathroom soaps were watered down so hard to keep in hand, bathroom tub was slippery so needs non-slip strips.

Over all was a good trip, would be nice to have a covered boat dock.

The property was clean and the check in process was smooth. The beds were, unfortunately, terribly uncomfortable but that was the only complaint we had. We loved our stay and this place!

So much easier less stress dealing with a reality buisness owner. Then a private home owner. I rented off a private home owner. N tryed changeing me all these crazy fees. Never again. I will stick with heartland reality company always

This was our second time staying here while our son fished a tournament on Lake Egypt. We just love the location, and the house!

4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms make this a desirable rental in a good location! Fairly level short walk to your boat dock with convenient electrical outlets. Short distance to marinas, food and groceries. Good size kitchen located downstairs while living room was upstairs which was a little different but didn’t affect our fishing trip. Would rent again if in the area.

House was comfortable. Water was right there. Caught a small bass and a bluegill just down there goofing off. Gonna come back with my small boat and slide into the water and fish.

4 adult men each had their own room with queen bed . Very comfortable , clean and well equipped .

The mark of a great property owner is how well they handle tough situations and these owners were amazing! We planned to spend Christmas at the lake since we had family coming in and our house is undergoing renovations. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible. Historic cold that wreaked havoc in the area. When we arrived we found that the extreme cold temps caused furnace issues in this property but the owners (who apparently were dealing with many weather-issues at other properties) had a maintenance man out and had us moved to another nearby beautiful home within an hour. Everything was great at that house except for a frozen pipe (yes, we had faucets dripping) on Christmas Eve but this was also addressed super fast. The plumbers who came told us that they had been fixing pipes all day. We were amazed at how well everything was handled so quickly on a holiday. I can’t imagine it was a very profitable weekend for them but they took great care of our family and saved our Christmas! We didn’t get to really enjoy this property but it was very clean, lovely and looked like the photos. The one we actually stayed in even more so but I don’t know where that listing is. We will definitely come back - but maybe in better weather!

The rental agency was very accommodating for our check-in the night before Thanksgiving. Our group consisted of 5 adults. The home was very comfortable and clean. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, kitchen, & dining area are on the ground floor with the back yard and the lake. Enough kitchen space for several cooks and a large fridge. We used the grill 1 night. Worked perfectly. 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, living room and another table for dining or board games are upstairs. Plenty of places to sit and visit. We didn't watch TV. WIFI signal was good. Plenty of electrical outlets in all the rooms. Good water pressure in the showers. Beds are firm with lots of soft pillows. Neighborhood was quiet but it is November. Didn't use the dock or sit outside but there is a table and chair set on the upper and lower decks. This house was definitely a good choice for our stay during the long Thanksgiving weekend.

Great communication with property manager. Exactly what we expected. Six guys and all of our hunting equipment and still plenty of room.

We enjoyed our weekend at the property. The house was clean, communication with host was easy as was check-in. I didn't realize the kitchen was in the lower level, but it worked out great with the walkout and access to patio.

Have stayed in Roman’s properties and are always clean and comfortable. I stay here at least twice a year.

Interesting house and quiet neighborhood with pretty view of inlet and quick paddle to main lake !

My son had a fishing tournament on Lake Egypt and this house was the perfect spot for our family to enjoy the weekend! The house was very clean and cozy! At night we had a bags tournament in the backyard with a fire in the fire pit and the next day enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards. We took a walk around the neighborhood and enjoyed seeing all the geese and deer. We will absolutely be back to visit again!!

PROS: - Easy access to house via road & water - Spacious - Nice view of lake - Nice linens, towels, etc. - Responsiveness of property mgr. to problems - Cleaners were friendly & efficient, upon arrival CONS - Key was not left for us as pre-arranged so could not access property upon arrival - House had not been cleaned; dirty linens, trash, etc. from previous renters still there. Property mgr. was responsive when contacted; very friendly & helpful; got cleaners there within an hour or so - but we still had to wait outside for a couple hours post-arrival. - No response from property owner re: communications about concerns - All beds, some patio chairs, & deck need replaced

Four bedroom, 2 bathroom spacious house with newly updated floors. Located on a smaller cove of the lake. Kids enjoyed 2 paddle boards and 2 kayaks that were at the house. Fire pit in the yard was very nice for campfire. Was able to rent a pontoon boat from local rental place (which was delivered right to dock) to use which was a lot of fun. I would only recommend a swimming ladder off the dock and mattresses downstairs were on the hard side and uncomfortable.

This property had terrible communication via arrival. Also the home was not cleaning at all. There was very dirty dishes, fility oven in unusable condition. The refrigerator freezer was very dirty, there was a drawer in the kitchen with rat or mice droppings. The towel and bed linen was also dirty. The upper out door patio had no lighting as describe.

Spring golf trip, good location, great price.

We had a great stay. Came down for a few days to get away and enjoy some hiking at Shawnee National Forest. The price for the accommodations was excellent, and the property manager was great and very responsive
