We had an amazing time staying at Soulshine Resort in Bali! The food was great, and the staff provided amazing service. The resort is quiet and fancy, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The beautiful rice fields surrounding the resort add to the natural beauty of the area. Additionally, the yoga classes were a great way to start the day, and the drinks were incredible and sunsets are just breath taking.

We liked the hotel so much! It was clean, so friendly staff and the yoga place is amazing!! The view at the rice fields also incredible. For us as vegans it is very important that the hotel offers vegan meal, we tried every vegan meal and recommend all of them. The Pool ist so big and had a slide, I could swim my daily lap. At the "check in" the lady said that they will give us an free upgrade to the panorama penthouse!!! Sooo nice. The panorama penthouse is amazing. The view, the facilities, the big comfy bed, the turntable (my husband loved it), the big balcony and also that the room had a tv with Netflix and so on. In the night we watched a movie. Thank you so much for all. And the concept of the hotel were also really good, they have a own growing vegetables garden, they working together with a near by village, and all are welcome (really all).

3 things need more attention... 1. In the spa I was treated by a woman who was unfortunately ill. She was trying not to sneeze the whole time and I felt a lot for her, that's why I couldn't relax 100%. 2. The AC in the room was really loud. 3. The music played the whole day in all areas of the hotel. I think the place had a lot of peace middle in the greens, so they need more quite space, and not all the day music. We lay by the pool and wanted to read a book, but that didn't work because the music was just so annoying.

I would love it if there was a basic gym

The only thing i did not like was music everywhere ( at both pools) . While it was nice music, you don’t always want to hear it, peace and quiet is nice as well. Perhaps the main pool,could have music and the secondary pool, peace and quiet.

Great location and view

When checkout stuff tried to charge us a lot of money for alcohol from minibar that we haven’t used. The stuff is super annoying always trying to talk to you, checking your room without need. The restaurant is soo overpriced, e.g they’re selling you milkshake (which they call Freakshake and trust me it’s not:)) for 20usd, and quality is very mediocre, it’s the same with included breakfast. It was smelling mold in the room, and they gave us a room with a view on a roof overlapping with rice filed view, which really spoiled the view.

We were treated so well by the genuinely caring staff. I cannot say enough positives about this place. The rooms are high quality, the bathtub divine, all of the extra details make a difference. This place knows how to host with grace and class and the grounds are phenomenal.

We have booked the U2 room for three days as a part of our one-month honeymoon trip in Indonesia. They were so sweet to make a honeymoon decoration and surprise us with a honeymoon cake. It is a soul music-themed Hotel and the owner himself is an American rapper. The decoration is made modestly, so if you are not into that type of music, it is not disturbing. All in all, I liked the decoration a lot because they used many handcrafted furniture and decoration, it looked very elegant. We found soulshine online while searching for a place to have three days of a yoga retreat. As for the restaurant and the lounge, they do have nice dishes and drinks. And the staff is friendly. But you need to take into account that serving time takes at least half an hour, no matter what you order, even a tea or a smoothie. Soulshine is a scenic hotel with two nice pools. It is very nice to chill and sip a cocktail while watching the rice fields across. But if you are searching for a place to meditate and do yoga this is not where you should book.

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed about the yoga retreat, because they only have basic morning yoga classes for one hour. It might be a good place for holding your own retreat otherwise it is not a place for yoga lovers. For a high-price hotel like this, they have very few amenities in comparison to the other hotels we have been to in Bali. There are only towels, shampoo set, hand soap, and 750ml water in the room (other hotels in a similar price range have a water cooker, tea, coffee, sometimes cake&cookies, bathrobes, cotton swabs, cotton pads, toothbrush & paste, sewing kit, etc. None of these are available in your room at soulshine) Breakfast is small and has only Balinese coffee (black coffee)/tea if you want another coffee instead, you will be charged without a warning. Upon our arrival, we heard that the AC in our room was broken. They offered us another room with fewer amenities or waiting for it to be fixed for two hours. We chose to wait at their lounge. It took three hours for them to fix it. And all drinks and snacks we consumed during that time were put on our bill, and none of them was complimentary to apologize long waiting. They apparently have certain activities other than morning yoga classes, like tours and classes, but I couldn't quite figure out what they had to offer. I asked the front desk four times to have the activity program, they either said they will send it later or they asked me what activities I was thinking about. I talked to another guest, she mentioned she also couldn't get any information about the activities.

The food was super fresh, inventive and healthy with vegan and local items on the menu. The included breakfast is spectacular. Amenities feel new, fresh and well-kept. Bedding and towels are exceptional as are the bluetooth stereos in each room. The best part is the people. I am so very biased as I was travelling alone on my birthday and they surprised me with a card and a SPECTACULAR chocolate ganache cake and a birthday song. These folks are just lovely, super detail-oriented and so cery accomodating! Don’t miss the sunday evening dj session by the pool for sunset. Its sooo much fun!

From the moment I was welcomed into the "lounge room" by the warmest, friendliest, and surely long lost sister, Neni, I knew this was going to be an unforgettable stay. The heart and soul of this place is the incredible team and their world class hospitality - they truly make you feel like you are family. The rooms are amazing - I would absolutely recommend the Panorama rooms for anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion (or an ultimate self treat!). The Hendrix room is also a wonderful option if you are happy to trade in a bathtub for a lush outdoor shower amongst the banana trees (heck yeah). I was constantly smiling from all the quirky details to discover. The food is fresh, delicious and filling. Drinks are incredible (holy wow, still salivating over that ginger and lime concoction from my welcome!). Music is everywhere, and equally, endless places to retreat for quiet moments to yourself. The energy and spirit of this place will make you want to stay. An absolute haven that is worth every cent. To my beautiful Soulshine family, thank you for all your chats, smiles, and delightful energy. I can't wait to see you all again.

This place is the place to be when you go to ubud! Cozy, and charmy! Staff are professional and helpful! Room are wide and beautiful and super clean! The best part....the breakfast!!! Do not hesitate...I knoelw there is a plenty of choice in the area...but soulshine is the right place to stay! You won't regret it! For me was the second time here and they upgraded me in a best room for my staying!! THANKS TO EVERYBODY FOR MAKE MY STAYING UNFORGETTABLE!
