Great location . Great facilities

No iron

Apart from the location and the view outside (would have been also spectacular if we don’t have open water tanks all round the property). I can’t think of anything else nice about this place. I am not sure if the good reviews I have seen here are for this or for their guest house which next to the holiday house

It was very disappointing to how dirty the bed sheets, pillow and pillowcases were. There was neither a complete set of plates not glasses in the kitchen. I had to make scrambled eggs in a rusty pan and serve my family breakfast in chipped plates and cups. We were literally told to use plastic ice cream containers as bowls for salads etc. No hot water No grilling facilities (otherwise they would be included in the fotos) The worst thing was the water in the bathroom was not clean, it was more like rain water (just wish we were informed about it). All in all, there is a need for major improvements before they start accommodating guests.

Lovely View from location. Good layout of the house. Secure offstreet parking and space for a trailer.

No Braai equipment available even though there is a fireplace outside.

The facilities was really poor. The kitchen did not even had dishes or side plates and was very poor equipped. Despite the fact that old houses can be beautifully furnished and equipped, it was very clear that the bare minimum was done to furnish and equip this house. The few glasses and plates that was available was in very dirty cupboards and was not clean at all. The property is totally overrated and I cannot recommend it for the price it is advertised for.
