Clean and pools

The property was beautiful. Location and view were perfect. Clean and spacious. Pool and lazy river were wonderful.

The beds were very uncomfortable. The kitchen was not set up for 6 people. Not enough silverware or plates. The slider in the bed room did not lock which led to the balcony on the 15th floor. We have 2 little kids and this was stressful the whole week. Smoke alarm in bedroom was hanging from wall without batteries. I brought issues up 3 times during our stay (mainly sliding door lock) and was told the local property manager would be in touch. The local property manager was never in touch about issues and reached out the day we were leaving. Apologized, saying the issues were not important enough to address during stay but would be addressed that day. Not helpful during our stay. Locking doors to the 15th floor balcony I would guess is not a safety concern? We have a rental property in Hilton Head and would be furious to find out how this situation was handled.. or not handled. Property was amazing but local management was not.

One day of our stay there was a lady in charge of the pool, we understand she was doing her job but she was very rude, to everyone in the pool, she got into the kids a lot and adults regarding everything, I understand she had to do her job but there is ways to talk to people and she was very mean! And disrespectful

The elevator on the beach side being out of order

The location was great. There is a bridge that goes over to the beach, three pools, and a great view from the room. It is near lots of food and fun. The room was pretty clean, and the balcony was nice to sit on. The contactless check-in was nice as well.

However, the room's ameminities were lacking. The wifi basically doesn't work. Nothing will load. The dryer didn't dry the clothes well either. The furniture is outdated and is scratched and picked as well as the quilt. The sheets in the master bedroom and the wall had black marks on them. The pillow cases were fuzzy and worn out and need to be replaced. The remotes to the television did not or barely work. There were only five pillows for the WHOLE unit, and there were two beds and a pull out couch. The quilt was basically a sheet. We had to purchase our own blanket because there was no comfort or warmth. You can tell that whoever owns the unit and the property management is trying to make the most money at the lowest cost. If you go here, it's priced nicely, but don't expect the comforts of blankets, pillows, and two ply toliet paper. Vacasa was informed of the issues, saying someone would be in contact with us to fix the issues, but that never happened. Lastly, the pool security, hawk lady, was ridiculous and unprofessional. I say hawk because she prowled around the pool area next to the beach, nastily asking to see your wristband even if it was clearly displayed. Even after you showed her, she would stare at you like you were a criminal or like how dare you want to enjoy the sun. Moat of a family, except for the wife, was not wearing the wristband, and she spat at them that the new policy was that every member had to wear one. After the security lady walked away, she proceeded to complain to another guest about the family and even go as far to make fun of them. Multiple people, including us, left that pool area due to her attitude. She definitely needs to be spoken about power trips and professionalism. Overall, it's not a dump, but it's not a great experience either. It works if you want a safe, mostly clean place, but make sure you bring everything from home.
