A lovely place perfectly located in a beautiful part of the country. The host was brilliant! So helpful, welcoming and thoughtful to make the visit special for my family.

Attractive cottage in good location for Southwell Minster. Breakfast left for us OK, personally prefer simple porridge oats to the little cereal packets. Modern fit out of kitchen and bathroom.

It is small, and as I and indeed all four of us are tall, it feels very cramped, with care needed to avoid head injuries for two of us. The second bedroom is really very small and barely has room for the two beds. But with four adults in the house, there are only 3 sofa/easy chair spaces downstairs. Thankfully the weather was good and we were out all the time. One simple addition needed is towel rails - there is nowhere to hang damp towels in the bathroom or bedroom.

The welcoming basket was a lovely touch. The cottage was clean throughout and very tastefully decorated.

A bedside table in the second bedroom and coffee table in the lounge would have been convenient. The outside area had little sun.
