The front garden was lovely, was basically an open ended conservatory. I called it an inside outside garden. The back garden was beautiful, the views of thatchers cider field was an amazing view. The cottage was cute, very comfortable bed & felt like home from home. Bed very comfortable. The owners very friendly and always there if you need anything. They even allowed their labrador to play with mine, which he loved as he's only 14 months old. Shower & bathroom was lovely. Living room slightly on the smaller side but really comfortable & homely with the recliner settee. The kitchen was lovely, even had a filter coffee machine, which i loved, me being a coffee freak lol. We ate outside on the decking & i spent most of my time listening to alexa sitting on the sun loungers, as the weather was amazing. Especially the sunset... I would definitely be returning.

Back garden was smaller than expected, especially when you got a labrador, but was still beautiful, spent most if my week in the garden.

Very nice, and cosy. The owners respect your privacy. Very vlear that effort has been put in to make sure it's ready for guests.

Some spiders and insects come in. But then again, it is the country side and should be expected.

Very nice gardens with a lovely view from the back garden. The cottage was lovely. But only a shower over the very high bath. So it's not suitable for anyone with mobility problems. But this was my own fault. I did not look fully at the photos when I booked But I would recommend this cottage to anyone

Nice place to sit under the veranda even nicer back garden to enjoy the sunshine, free wi-fi fully equipped kitchen with microwave oven ect ,comfortable sitting room with Internet TV all in plesent surroundings.

Really great little property with everything that could want for self catering.. Would highly recommend for a couple - and that dogs are made so welcome is an added bonus. Thank you to Samir for being a great host.

This was a lovely cottage, with plenty of room for us and our dog. Bed and sofa were really comfy and the Kitchen area had all you need for and nice self catering break. Added bonus was a nice corner bath to have a relaxing soak in, with overhead shower too. The cottage has lovely private outdoor areas - both front and back - beautiful views out the back. It is within easy reach of the Stawberry Line footpath - less than 10mins walk away.

Nothing - all good, be nice to come back, perhaps in the Spring when weather is better!! Wet and windy when we stayed but nothing you can do about that!! Cottage nice and cosy though!

The location was very good, central to Winscombe village where my daughter lives. Compact, but everything you need for a short stay. Warm welcome by host.comfortable bed. Excellent views. Very good correspondence with host, both before and during stay.

Not being able to access heating, although the host listened to us and put heating on. Heating does come on via timer. Think the decor could do with updating. Furniture beautiful. Found location via postcode on booking.com, although struggled to find house number. Was this an oversite on my part? Is it on advertisement? Misleading, welcoming brochure suggests that there is staples, milk, bread available. None, but we brought our own so not an issue.

As soon as we entered the cottage our senses were serenaded by a soothing stream of relaxing music, we personally appreciated that the hosts had arranged such a warm welcome. The cottage is cosy and the decor is opulent in taste, there is a lovely book on display with contact numbers of Gps, restaurants and local walks and places to visit. The garden has such a beautiful view of the Mendip hills and wildlife .

The peace and quiet, the location and the well equipped cottage also the owner was very helpful.
