Location and staff

We loved everything - friendly staff, beautiful interior and delicious food.

Great location for easy access to A38 and Derby city centre, lovely spacious room (The Adam) and beautifully clean bed linen and towels. Fridge in room and good sized TV - dressing table and mirror with several plug points close by. Large bathroom with bath and walk in shower. Well designed rooms. All staff very friendly and accomodating.

The country House feel. The staff were welcoming, and the room was clean and comfortable. The food was excellent.

Wonderful food and large room with luxurious feel. Staff were friendly and attentive, and the included breakfast was fantastic value

We thought the hotel was lovely, full of character and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast too!

Beautiful accommodation

The size of the family room was great. Lots of seating places. Double windows flooded the bedroom with light, so it was good to have a huge fan to cool the room.

The kettle was in a cupboard 'drawer' that you couldn't slide out because the kettle lead was too short. There were no glasses in the bathroom....

Stayed in the deluxe family room & we couldn't of been happier, clean & very comfortable big bed, staff were friendly & helpful, breakfast was excellent & we had booked a table in the restaurant in the evening & could not fault the food.

Having to go home, there was nothing I could find fault with

The staff .we're amazing, especially Lee. On the desk .so helpful . And amazing. .he is an asset to the hotel, and the person who owes the hotel has got an amazing person running there business . Your lucky you found an amazing. Staff lee . He. Sort. Out my food. And. It was. Delicious 😋

curtains did not completely cover one of the windows restaurant has run out of - linguine (the only vegetarian option on the menu), rib steak (much cheaper than other steak options), prosecco

quality of rooms and furnishings location for our visiting friends was perfect The staff were helpful and very accommodating of our several visitors. this made a big differ nice. we used one of the lounges downstairs and this worked perfectly.

no rooms accessible for wheelchair users the restaurant is as over priced for dinner and a bit disappointing quality but breakfast was excellent

Really welcoming staff, and well decorated rooms with large bathrooms, excellent food. 10/10 would stay again
