Nous avons pris deux excursions avec le Lodge et c’était incroyable. Nous étions que les deux, et pratiquement les seuls touristes à chaque fois. Je recommande fortement de prendre les excursions directement avec leur guide en moto ou en voiture c’était top! Merci encore à notre guide. Chambre spacieuse et propre avec une belle vue sur les rizières. Les repas étaient très bons (midi et soir) mais le petit déjeuner a améliorer. Personnel très gentil et très accueillant. Un bel endroit pour visiter Pu Luong, je recommande!

The hotel is well located on the main road but away from any noise. Puluong is such a special place. Our room was comfortable and spacious. Amazing view too! We hope to be back someday.

Absolutely gobsmacked by the beauty of this resort, view, area, pool!!!!! Best location with super friendly and helpfull staff. Owner speaks English very well, which was very helpful for us a first time Vietnam travellers. We received very helpful information. The rooms are very big and comfortable, nice view, the bathroom is very big and well equipped with wonderful windows. Wish I could've stayed longer!!!!

Really helpful staff and great communication. Peaceful and relaxing, stunning scenery. Great base for exploring Pu Luong by scooter or bike.

Not a criticism but be aware for planning that there are only 3 bikes. They are free to use on first come first served basis and are well maintained.

The view from the rooms on the rice fields if truly special, it’s a wonderful experience to wake up to this. The rooms were clean and it was also great to get to visit an area that feels like it is still spared from mass tourism. We recommend visiting the Ban Don village and surrounding areas where you will find great food, friendly people and wonderful walks across the rice fields.

The food could be improved as this is definitely not their forte. Also, during our 4 weeks journey across Vietnam, that’s the only place where we didn’t feel very welcome. No one was rude, but only one person speaks English and unfortunately, he wasn’t the friendliest person in the world. We didn’t receive any information about activities and visits in the area, and we didn’t feel they were very keen on spending time giving advice, we had to figure out everything by ourselves.

The rooms look really nice. The nearby massage place is incredible! Staff is very friendly and very helpful. All up a great experience.

Only downside; it's hard to find a different place to eat

They have two kittens that like to spend time with customers and even sleep in their room. We have first hand experience. Was wholesome. Stayed here in this beautiful lodge for 1 night. We unfortunately had a bit of bad luck with heavy mist around the area and hence it was only a short stay. The lodge is built around fantastic location; rolling rice terraces, mountains and native villages near by. Service was first class, Mr. Viet Ahn, our receptionist helped our travel from Mai Chau and to Ninh Binh and gave cool recommendations for things to do. The staff is amazing and friendly, rooms are super cozy and clean and highly recommended to escape the tourist heavy places and relax in nature. They have great amenities like infinity pool, buffet breakfast, coffee/tee. Overall, highly recommended for stays in nature.

Watch out for weather forecast and pack clothing accordingly.

Il faut parler anglais avec le patron. Saison pour la piscine pas en février froid et humide. Prévoir de bonnes chaussures de rando pour les ballades dans les rizières. Habits chauds l'hiver. Quelques degrés de moins qu'à Hanoï pour se repérer.

Chambre était grande et agréable Environnement extérieur, piscines grandes.

Peu de personne parle anglais.

The staff are extremely friendly and eager to help.

Bathroom shower is integrated into the bathroom with no partition so you take shower and the entire bathroom is wet. Near the window in the bathroom you see mold. Elsewhere in the room there are dead insects. And there are no chairs nor proper desk in the room. Just a bed, an empty fridge and a very low table.

Decent location and facilities were nice enough, food was pretty good except pool wasn’t the cleanest.

No chance at cancelling or moving booking no matter the reason. Food is expensive, most staff have no English and transportation to Hanoi starts late with staff not able to help much.

The ecolodge is located in a quiet valley, surrounded by paddy fields and misty hills - quite beautiful. The accommodation comprises of the central hub with restaurant and bar area, and a series of lodges built into the hillside around a number of ponds and bathing pools, all surrounded by lush gardens. Our room was clean and comfortable with a good sized en suite shower room. The breakfast was very pleasant - homemade jams and banana cake, an egg station producing omelette or scrambled egg on request, alongside a wide range of fruits and Asian foods. We also enjoyed one of our best meals from our time in Vietnam whilst at the lodge, which was local fried river fish with fresh greens. We asked the staff at the lodge (all of whom were very friendly and helpful) to arrange for a local guide to take us for a day's walk to a remote jungle village and the nearby vast bat caves, which we thoroughly enjoyed - our guide spoke good English and was able to give us a lot of information about the area and its people. The lodge also provided bikes for our use (no charge), which allowed us to explore the nearby villages. All in all, this was a beautiful place to spend a few days in the hills and provided excellent value for money. We would stay here again if we were to return to the area.

Nothing really - but I've made a couple of comments just to help other travelers' expectations. There wasn't a TV in our room, but we did not need one and it wasn't an issue for us. We stayed at the lodge at the end of January, and the weather was mixed - quite cold in the evenings, low mist/light drizzle in the mornings, but brighter during the day - and we certainly needed fleeces and/or down jackets on when eating our meals at the lodge as the food area is not a heated space. The local food specialties are fish and pork - both of which are excellent, and available in many different dishes at the lodge's restaurant but it should perhaps be noted that there isn't quite the range/choice if you are a strict vegetarian.

We can highly recommend to explore the area by motorbike - we (parents and two teens) had a fantastic day with Tuan and his friends.

It was nice and remote. There are resorts and home stays everywhere along the main road and throughout the villages. The Lodge catered all our meals, all our transport, all our tours are taken care of.

Stylish lodge. Beautiful rooms with wonderful views. Very clean. Staff was helpful and friendly.

Everything was perfect, great comfortable and clean rooms, very fresh and delicious food! We were supposed to only stay for 3 days we extended our stay by another 3 days.

Endroit très beau au milieu des rizières, c’est calme, tranquille et apaisant. Proche de balades dans les rizières et village environnant! De beaux espaces, grande chambre, belle salle de bain, joli balcon, superbe piscine avec vue sur les rizières (il y a même une autre piscine dans la vue!). La nourriture est un peu chère mais bonne ! Ça donne envie de rester !

La chambre est belle mais au vu du prix, elle manque un peu de “standing”!

The design and scenery of Pu Luong Jungle Lodge are breathtaking, delivering a feeling of closest to nature. The food is also delicious, the coffee with condensed milk and fresh milk named Bạc Xỉu is my favourite, enjoying it every morning with joyful sound of the stream and beautiful sight. The staffs are all enthusiastic and welcoming.

The location of this lodge is fantastic, and the surrounding views are stunning. The grounds are spacious and very beautiful, with plenty of places to relax and unwind in a peaceful natural setting. Everything about our stay was fabulous. We ate only at the lodge restaurant and found several food options that were delicious. The lodge helped us arrange transportation and interesting tours of the area. There was an entertaining local dance show on Saturday night, and we were encouraged to participate. This made for a perfect weekend getaway.

The only thing I might add (as a mother of western kids) is a couple of breakfast options for those not into the savory options. Perhaps yogurt and granola or freshly made pancakes for the kids.

The view is splendid, the lodge is beautiful! We had great guides / scooters to visit Pu Luong and the rice fields. Truly breathtaking spots and not many tourists !!

We did not love the food served at the restaurant and had to find options to go to another restaurant (we rented a scooter and you have nice places 5-10min from the hotel). Also, there were several big groups during our stay, which can lead to a lot of noise at the restaurant, swimming pool etc. We expected a « retreat » but it was not really like that… also because everyone will make sure you wake up from 6am…. And there was no cleaning done in the room during our 3 nights stays

Staff immediately made me feel at home. The room was impeccable and the mattras was very comfortable. Staff also helped me with finding my way around town. Swimming pool was beautiful.
