12 family and friend stayed at Mainstay during Labor Day Week. Lovely, clean, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, excellent pool and yard. We loved it. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful house with plenty of space for all the ladies. The pool was amazing. We even used the fire pit area at night. There isn’t a beach but the neighborhood is really upscale with gorgeous homes to look at. There is a nice lake access with a gazebo to check out Lake Michigan views. Lisa was a terrific host and responded quickly with any questions we had. I would highly recommend this property if hanging at the pool and just chilling is what your after.

We are a family of 15 with 7 children ages 5 months to 10 years. We all enjoyed this property very much. Everything was perfect! The kitchen was very well supplied for our large group. The pool was so much fun for us all, and there were plenty of beach towels for everyone. And we loved having the golf cart so that we could tour the lovely neighborhood and go the shoreline to see the sunsets. We would love to go back next year!!

We wanted to get away for a nice weekend getaway for New Years with the family! This was the perfect home. We had 18 of us and it was spacious, clean, and so beautiful inside. Highly recommend! Lisa was also so responsive for any questions! It was my first experience using vrbo and it was great!

My family and I had a great time visiting Grand Beach. The house was beautiful and the hosts are very responsive and helpful! When we got there, the pool heater wasn’t working and the coffee pot had a small break. Michelle and Lisa immediately (within one hour) purchased and delivered a new coffee machine and also scheduled someone to come out to the pool to fix the heater. We had an amazing vacation swimming in the heated pool, enjoying s’mores by the fire-pit, whipping around the neighborhood on the golf-cart and enjoying the lovely and spacious home. As an fyi - there is no beach access walkable from the house but you can get there on the golf cart. All in all, a wonderful time!

The home is beautifully decorated, very comfortable furniture and beds. Some needed items were delivered after a few phone calls. Non working golf cart issue was solved after a few days. Pool was great!
Owners/managers easily contacted. Aside from all the good things about the home, sorry but it is still overpriced!

A wonderful home in a great location
We enjoyed our stay a lot. The house had everything our family needed to have an amazing trip. The pool was the highlight for all of the kids while the house had plenty of room for each member of the family to be comfortable. Our hosts were very responsive and went the extra mile to make sure our stay was wonderful. We highly recommend this house.

Beautiful home in a great location!
Fit our large group perfectly and the house was lovely! Great decor and plenty of room to be comfortable for our guests. Hoping to return in warmer months to enjoy the fabulous backyard some more. Lisa was a great host and made the entire process easy and had some excellent suggestions for us during our stay. Would highly recommend to all!

Bachelorette Weekend
Such a wonderful experience! The house is gorgeous and was super clean. It was so spacious for 13 girls. We had a private chef come one night and the kitchen was perfect for this. The check in and check out process was very easy and the house had everything we could have ever needed. Lisa and Michelle were very communicative and even accommodated some of us coming earlier to start decorating the house. The power went out during our stay because there was a bad storm and Michelle was on top of it right away. All of the girls loved the house. We wish we could have stayed longer just so we could have enjoyed more of what the house has to offer!

Nice house for a get together with friends!
This is a perfect house for a get together with family and friends. This was a great stay for friends doing a long-weekend stay – the bedrooms are very well divided, the wifi signal is strong, the heated pool is nice, and the house is walking distance to the beach. The host is very hospitable and accommodating. Would love to go back again here next year!

Memories to have forever
We loved everything, the kitchen was great for cooking and gathering. The living room was fun to hang out in and share stories. The outside pool was amazing and the walks to see the sunset was incredible. Beautiful neighborhood. We were greeted our first night with the brightest double rainbow, incredible. The beds were comfortable and everyone slept great. Will definitely share with friends and family

Absolutely Great!
My husband and I celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary with our children and grandchildren at this wonderful home!
Everything was perfect. The home was decorated with a Pottery Barn vibe. Each family had their own space. We all enjoyed the outdoor pool, firepit, and golf cart rides. The kitchen was well equipped, as were each of the bedrooms and bathrooms. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood with great views of the lake. We ALL loved it!

-great cancellation policy
-inside is updated
-Lisa property manager is good
Cons:
-no generator. If power goes out you are SOL but will hear all the other properties humming.
-dirty like previous reviewer mentioned. On the surface it was clean but deep down-pretty filthy. We washed all the bathmats, vacuumed under couch, cobwebs, fruit flies etc etc. it wasn’t unlivable but also not for us.
-pool is small and basic like previous reviewer mentioned. No tile work. It’s just a plastic insert and small.
-they say it can sleep 16 or 19 but we were 2 families of 4 (total of 8) and it was tight
-no access to beach. You have a golf cart to drive around areas but there’s nowhere to go. The playground a mile away is old and tennis courts aren’t playable.

Large family vacation
This house was delightful! There were 7 adults and 7 children all together and we found the space very generous. The pool was the main source of daytime entertainment. It was very clean and the water temperature was perfect. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals. Having the golf cart was fun for little trips around the neighborhood- which is beautiful and quiet. The only suggestions we have would be to add a chest of drawers in each bedroom, more clothes hangers,
And a Small waste bin in each bedroom. My husband (who is never without his laptop) said the WiFi was a bit spotty. Overall, we loved the house and we felt Lisa was very responsive. We give it 5 stars.

Great house for a large family gathering!
The house and pool were perfect for our family gathering with kids of all ages! The park, tennis courts and playground are a short golf cart ride away! The house was wonderful with all the amenities you could think of but our one area of improvement would be the cleanliness. The house was clean on the surfaces but under the beds and couches were very dirty as well as the basement floor! We loved all the pool toys, games and blocks for the kids! The property manager was very helpful and quick to respond to all messages!

Beautiful location and great property manager.
The location is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The property manager, Lisa, is very responsive and arrived within 10 minutes to address a minor problem that occurred on our first day. It was too cold to make much use of the pool, but that would have been a nice amenity as well on better weather days.
Only minor complaints are that there is no actual beach access in the neighborhood because the beach has fully eroded (though there’s a beautiful large beach in New Buffalo), and that the curtains and blinds in certain rooms were insufficient to block out the light.

Fantastic stocked kitchen, cozy bedding, technologically savvy and an incredible back patio. (The weather wasn’t great for us to enjoy it but we all agreed we’d love to come back in the summer!)The Property Manager, Lisa, was easy to work with and very responsive. Perfect, Cozy House for a Weekend Getaway!
The house is exactly like it’s pictures! Beautiful home with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing and fun vacation. The Family Matriarch's 90th Birthday Celebration
Our original plans for our mother/grandmother/great-grandmother's 90th birthday celebration had to be cancelled due to COVID. We decided to gather here instead, and family travelled from several states for the occasion. It turned out to be far nicer than we could have imagined! We spent a wonderful weekend in this beautiful, scenic, comfortable home creating memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you so much!

Clean and very well kept. Quiet and nice neighborhood. Very relaxing. Needs to have the AC upgraded for the upstairs. Sleeping was a challenge due to the temperatures in the house.

Wonderful Stay in Grand Beach
Our family of 4 stayed at the Grand Beach property and had a great time. The property is as listed and the photos are accurate. The pool, neighborhood for biking and golf cart were the highlights!

A great family together
We got together with two sets of grandparents, siblings and all the kids. Everyone enjoyed the stay. The pool is the highlight of the house. We had great weather so we were in the pool everyday, multiple times a day. The pool temperature is comfortable and it's clean. The other favorite is the golf cart that can be driven around the neighborhood, sunset rides, a favorite of the kids. The house is stocked with all the amenities, pool and beach towels, kitchen supplies, etc. The four bedroom upstairs and the master on the main floor are all very nice and comfortable. The decor is new and beachy, very inviting. Overall, this was a great experience and we hope to come back to this house.

Girls weekend - happy 50th!
This is a stunning house. It was perfect for 8 women who just wanted to relax and enjoy the pool. We didnt leave the house once - just having too much fun. Lisa is the most incredible concierge and took great care of everything!! By far the best Vrbo experience I've ever had! Will definitely be back.
