My family and I had a wonderful weekend getaway in Chattanooga. The city is filled with activities for all ages, all of which are easily accessible from this property. We especially appreciated the walkability of, and dining options in, the neighborhood. The home was not conventional but met our needs perfectly. The layout is unique. The floor plan consists of 3 hallways, forming two perpendicular angles. The rooms aren’t exceptionally large, but four adults and two young children fit comfortably. The living and dining rooms accommodated us well with ample seating and dining space. The king size bed is low and the pillows are firm. The bedding for the twin sized beds is colorful and appealing to kids. The ability to climb flights of stairs is a must for entering this home. The host is kind, helpful, and responds promptly to questions, providing detailed answers. Check-in and check out are streamlined and easy. We greatly enjoyed our stay.

The property was very nice. All the rooms very very roomy. It was clean and was a perfect location just outside of downtown and close to Lookout Mountain.

We were in Chattanooga for a softball tournament. The property was clean, spacious, stocked with everything we needed, and in a great location. We walked to delicious dinners, ice cream and great breakfast spots. We will definitely be staying here again for our next tournament. We highly recommend!

Perfect location to everything. Safe neighborhood with walking distance, or quick Uber, to fun eateries and pubs. The outdoor front porch was great and could barely hear the neighbors on the lower floor. They too said they could barely hear us upstairs. Will definitely stay again. Thank you!

Vibrant place close to more gems than we had time to explore. Everywhere we went, people were so friendly and gave us great recommendations.

We absolutely loved our stay in the Southside Upstairs Townhome! The location right near the heart of charming south Chattanooga couldn't have been better. So many neat restaurants, coffee shops, etc. We felt safe at all times and appreciated the close (by car) proximity to UTC, where we were in town to see our daughter in a show. The home was super-clean and so attractive and comfortable -- even better than you see in the pictures, because they don't quite capture the nice sense of space that you feel in this home. Every bed was comfy, and the kitchen is nicely appointed. Thank you so much for sharing your lovely place!! We would come back again in a heartbeat. :)

We love the neighborhood--the Historic South Side has fun restaurants and bakeries. This is the top half of a house, and is a railroad flat (all the rooms off of a hallway) with a nice skylight in the center. Clean and comfortable. The king sized bed is a tempurpedic style, which is super comfy but too soft for my back--but the queen mattress is firm. The decor is tasteful, though with a few of those inspirational "live laugh love" sorts of pictures. Our host Owen was responsive and super nice. Great value and all around we recommend it highly.

We ended up renting both the upstairs and downstairs of the house and had a wonderful time with our family on graduation weekend. There was plenty of room in the back so we brought our outdoor chairs and had lunch outside. Close to plenty of wonderful restaurants for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We walked to several pubs and other event places. Great weekend!

Our family stayed here for a few days in March 2023 for a Spring Break trip to Chattanooga. We were not disappointed with this place. It was exactly as described, cozy, clean and neat. We loved the proximity to downtown and the restaurants. The owners were very receptive. We would definitely stay here again on any future trips to the area.

This spot is wonderful! It is within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and bars. There is also a spa and whiskey tour within walking distance. The Chattanooga Market is a dream and also about 15 minutes by foot. The built in baby gate is a lifesaver. This unit is great for both a group of friends and groups with kids.

Residential feel and a quick walk to downtown attractions
Stays cool, has comfortable beds, and works as a good base for visiting downtown. There is a playground a block away if your little ones need to blow off some steam. The free bus for getting to several downtown attractions is just a few blocks away.

Cute, cozy, and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at this townhouse. We had everything we needed, and the property was a great size for 2 couples. The house is just as pictured very clean and had everything we needed. Tara was a great host and answered all my questions and gave great suggestions for restaurants for our family. This was our first time staying in Chattanooga and we have a great time.

Chattanooga Traditions
This property is perfectly located to easily walk downtown.The surrounding area consists of some older homes and townhomes,all very nice.The property was very spacious and clean.And looks exactly as pictured.Parking at the back was great with plenty of room.Street parking was available but definitely crowded.But for us was not needed. No dishwasher,but also not an issue for us.Little extras were made available in the kitchen however and it was a nice touch and appreciated.Coffee pods,dish detergent,extra garbage bags,paper towels.Also plenty of towels.
We would definitely stay here again.

Super convenient
Location was wonderful. We could walk to restaurants, shopping, and downtown. Owners were quickly responsive and helpful with any of my requests. We rented both the top and bottom unit. I would recommend this for any large family group. I stayed with my parents and brothers and their families. It was perfect. The sound proofing is good. We could put the young ones to bed downstairs and then all go upstairs and not bother them in the least.
