We had a wonderful stay at Clos des Jacobins. The property is beautiful and the breakfast was a real highlight!

We initially booked this place based on the assumption we would have access to the pool however the pool is only for one room on the property.

Wonderful place to stay surrounded by vineyards. The staff – who, by the way, were exceptional - supported us with directions,, recommendations and even booked a table in a restaurant for us. We had a great time there.

Beautiful, clean and spacious house. Emma was lovely, so friendly and informative. Breakfast was great, lots of choice to start the day. Lovely views over the vineyards. Definitely will be going back.

Had initially booked the property as it was advertised as hosting wine tastings and tours, unfortunately neither were available on site and we had to go to a sister property to do these. Slight inconvenience but didn't mar the experience.

Clos des Jacobins is a magnificent place. A pleasant surprise. It's like being at home with a large garden and your own vineyards.

The facilities are fantastic and the scenery among the vineyards was super! The room is large and spacious and offers all one needs for a stay (and more!)

The hostess was not physically there on arrival, but had everything arranged. To be fair, it was a Sunday evening. Because it's a small town, we could not find any transport to the village for dinner and ended up walking along the main road...

Breakfast was good, could have a little more variety. The location was great. A suggestion - Enable guests to drink your wine on the site. An honour system where peple list whether they have taken the bottle or just a glass. Payment can be made at the end of the stay. eliminates having to go into town to buy a bottle for sitting outside on the terrace

The door on our room would only stay closed if it was locked. Also annoying beeping sound in the lounge room. Smoke detector batteries may need changing.

The property is amazing. Vice vineyard view with a relaxing garden. Comfy spacious room with a bathtub.

It's kind of abandoned.... The hotel is separated from everything else. There is no staff (except for a very gentle lady who comes to give you the key and breakfast). The chateau store was closed, I could not visit the winery because they were fully booked and made zero effort to accommodate a hotel guest. No one showed up to serve the breakfast the last day. Quite frustrating as you expect to have the experience in the chateau and end up with a B&B.

The staff were extremly helpful. The breakfast every morning was great The ability to be able to cook & be self sufficient but yet so close to saint emilion (walking distance) was a huge bonus. The vineyard was really peaceful, we slept really well! They allowed us to leave our extensive amount of luggage in the villa much earlier then check in time so we could drive to lunch without having a full car - this was very much appreciated. Wine tour at Chateau Candalie was great!

The villa needs a good, proper, thorough clean. There were spiders, cob webs, bugs and dust in most rooms throughout. It is a working vineyard so we understand this is normal to a degree but there were cobwebs & dust throughout the property and the kitchen needs an extra clean (there is food debree and dust in the drawers and cutlery had food on it but we just did another wash in the dishwasher and it was rectified). I would point out the lack of good cleaning might be due to the shortage of staff in the area( as this was an issue for most businesses) mixed with a very busy tourist season so this may just be a once off as any issues we did have, Thibault rectified immediately and was very nice about everything. They did ask us was everything OK so customer service was very good, we just didn't notice the small issues until we were there a day or two. We would return to this property as we did have a lovely few days.

Charming little house with lovely pool in the backyard. Breakfast was delivered every morning. Very private surrounded by vineyards. Full kitchen if you choose to eat in and Close by to Saint Emilion with many restaurant choices.

Air conditioning would have be nice as France was still warm in September. They did bring us two circulating fans for the bedrooms. Outside shower may also be a nice addition.

Gazing over the vineyards was lovely. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Very quiet which was good for sleeping undisturbed.

English was not spoken. Had difficulty communicating to get basic information like location of associated restaurants we had reservations for. Internet was not working on arrival, trouble communicating this to her. She used a translation application to tell us it would be fixed tomorrow. Finally at 5 pm it worked but only for about an hour then down again. so internet basically non existent. Tasting is included in the booking, we tried to book, no response by either person on site or by messaging through booking.com Other reviews raved about how helpful the staff were and the breakfast. We had difficulty with basic communication let alone getting advice on where to go etc. Breakfast was typical for area;Croissant, bread, jam. The orange juice was fresh squeezed which was a nice.

Not alot Girl didn't turn up for breakfast as arranged and agreed for 8am. No water in the room. No air con. Nobody about after 7pm.

Close des Jacobins was a beautiful place to stay. The accommodations were comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. Great location.

It was quite hot in the room throughout the summer night - fans would be nice since the facility does not have AC.
