The manager took a call from taxi firm and relayed message. Very kind and helpful.

Small points: The mattress was quite soft and springy. Not to my liking but that’s a personal preference. The noise from next room’s shower was VERY loud! No tea / coffee in room, but I assume it’s freely available in the breakfast room? If so, staff could inform guests on arrival.

There is nothing lovely about this BnB but it certainly does what it is supposed to - provide a safe, clean, comfortable and convenient stop over . The proprietor is eager to help but clearly it is all about the bottom line.

Castle BnB is value for money.

Easy to find, well lit up. Easy walking distance to Horley Town Centre to buy food or eat out. Very friendly host. Comfortable room. Good value for money being so close to Gatwick.

Very close to the airport but taxi fare was astronomical £20 for a 2 mile ride

Strong smell of gloss paint throughout the property and radiators not working. Small electric heater - cold during the night and duvets flimsy for midwinter. No kettle or teabags.

とにかく寒い、暖房設備が不十分でした。 また、シャワーでお湯が十分に使えなかった 他にも客室内での飲食が禁止されており、お茶等も共用のダイニングを使用する必要があり、不便を感じた。

Great for overnight stopover between Gatwick flights. Walking distance from Airport, or take #20 bus for £2. Very comfortable room with clean bathroom. Slept like log - very quiet neighbourhood. Friendly owner. Breakfast basic but adequate. Nice restaurants within a short walk - the Italian restaurant is fantastic.

Proximity to train station & airport

Shower pressure was terrible. Basically a light sprinkle/drizzle of water. Turning up the "flow" did nothing. My comforter smelled a little musty/old. Friend's was ok and she found bed comfortable. We kept hearing a thumping sound every few seconds throughout the night, like something heavy being dropped. Couldn't sleep. No one was at property when we arrived at 530ish in the afternoon. One of the owners happened to walk up after a few minutes...but then all guests were left alone during breakfast and had to refill kettle ourselves... interesting.

Close to Gatwick airport, and close to Horley for dinner.

Bed uncomfortable, front entrance needed to be cleaned, cobwebs and old fairy lights hanging around porch, did not give a good first impression.

Nous avons loué 2 chambres. Quand nous sommes arrivés, une des chasses d'eau fuyait. Elle a d'ailleurs débordé pendant la nuit. Dans cette même salle de bain, aucun luminaire ne fonctionnait (pas très facile de se laver dans ces conditions...) Le petit déjeuner continental était quelconque avec peu de choix (self-service, café lyophilisé)

The owner Ahmed couldnt do enough for us during our stay and nothing was too much for him. Great location, lovely big twin room and comfy beds. Lovely continental breakfast in the morning. Nice size bathroom and very clean.

No tenían café para tomar en el desayuno, sólo soluble . Y al parecer el cacao no es normal que lo pongan en hoteles .... la habitación en booking ponía que tenía cafetera y hervidor pero no tenía.

Host was great, breakfast was okay.

Lots of rooms close together. Noisey people talked for hours. No tea or coffee in the room was disappointing.

Location is perfect for Gatswick Airport

The owner closes the office at 8pm and assumes that all guest have access to call him after hours for the room key (which was not left at reception like the email stated). This was stressful as I had to call Canada (family) to call him to let him know we had arrived and the key was not where he said he would leave it. A local phone at reception with his number would be great for guest to use for after hours.

Rummet var fuktskadat, synligt mögel i badrummet. Sängen, handdukar mm. var fuktiga och luktade surt. Fönster ut mot en allmän parkering - ville/vågade inte ha öppet fönstret för att vädra på natten. Dåligt frukostutbud.

The beds were good and comfortable and had a room with 3 beds (so friends could be together)

Stairs up.to room very steep (and on 2nd floor). Could be a challenge if heavy bags. Breakfast was poor. I couldnt drink the coffee (sachets) and had one piece of toast and spread.

Nähe zum Flughafen - 5 Minuten mit dem Auto und fußläufige Erreichbarkeit des Ortszentrums (Restaurants,...).

Die Bettwäsche war nicht sauber, wies undefinierbare Flecken auf. An der Zimmerdecke waren große Wasserflecken. Alles sehr hellhörig. Der Parkplatz vor dem Haus musste extra bezahlt werden obwohl viel Leerfläche war. Beim Frühstück durfte man nicht anspruchsvoll sein. Instantkaffee, ect.

Good close location to the airport and walkable to places to eat.

Rooms were dusty and did not feel clean. The host confirmed a price for a shuttle to the airport, only to forget and try to rebook us, to increasing the cost on the day off, to not getting a big enough vehicle for everyone + luggage, and wanted to double charge us for 2 trips less than ten minutes from the airport. Was rude overall and I would not stay again.
