If you don’t speak German, do some research prior to going about public transportation and things to see. We had no problem getting around and enjoyed our visit thoroughly

1st time in Cologne and loved the quaintness of it. The apartment was homey and in a location a short taxi ride away from the old town. Honeger's was a fabulous restaurant a few blocks away from the apartment. Anci at that restaurant was very hospitable and told us what we needed to experience while in Town. She suggested a fabulous brewery and history tour called The Kolsch Guys. What a unique and enjoyable way to take in a new town.

Clean, nice in a safe neighborhood, very near transportation. Arrived much later then anticipated and was greeted by a friendly gent that spoke broken English. Would recommend this home way from home.

Six of us shared the flat for a weekend in August 2016. The flat is directly next to the Cologne Fortuna stadium in Cologne Zollstock (very good for football supporters) and is about 100 metres from the S-Bahn stop, which was really practical. We had flat number 1, which was clean and had everything you would expect from a weekend holiday rental. The apartment was very clean and nice. We were able to walk to a beautiful park near by and have dinner in a beer garden. We could easily walk to the grocery and get onto public transportation to take to the center of Cologne. We are a family of six from America and were very comfortable in this apartment. Thank you

The flat - up four flights of stairs - was very clean. Wifi, heating and kitchen equipment all worked perfectly. The flat was quiet despite its proximity to railway lines, although it might get noisy if there is a match at the next-door stadium! Easy to access all of Cologne using the tram system, and under 20 minutes' walk to the University. I would definitely return here and strongly recommend it.

I stayed there 2 nights with 4 other people, the place is clean, spacious and well located. Check in and out went very smoothly. My only disappointment was the internet connection, way to slow to be functional. (it took us 5 min to load any web page). Appart from that, I would definitely recommande this appartement!

I know that if I stayed only for 2 nights I can't judge completely the neighborhood. But in my humble opinion the neighborhood is not the best. The first night we saw a fight just in front of our building. The second night a couple of guys passed by the street screaming and hitting the cars that were parked. In the other hand, it is pretty close to the city center, 5 min. by car. About the building, it is old and the external part is not well maintained. That gives you a bad feeling when you arrive. The buildings next door are from the same time and look better. Finally, about the apartment. It is a very nice place, fully furnished and equipped. 7 people can sleep comfortably. The heating was perfect and the internet pretty good. The cleaning was ok in general (except under the furniture). In general I think that it is a good place to stay for the price that they ask. PD: the lady that gives you the keys it is very nice but she doesn't speak a very fluent english so it would be easy if you speak german.

We stayed in this apartment for one night while we were in Köln. It was very spacious and well maintained. The apartment isn't in the city center, but th tram stop is steps away so it simple to get anywhere you want. The people renting the apartment are great to deal with and I would highly recommend this apartment.

We took our family to Cologne for our son's wedding so we were looking for an alternative to hotel rooms close to the Wolkenburg. The apartments were modern and clean as advertised. However, we did have to compromise some comfort. The weather was very hot during our stay. Air conditioning is not common in Cologne, but it would have been nice to at least have a couple of fans. The street noise is definitely an issue if you have to open the bedroom windows at night. The train isn't really as noisy as the truck and motorcycle traffic, which was extremely loud and active until the early am hours. I actually had to sleep on the couch in the living room one night because it was too hot to close the window and too noisy to leave it open. We rented both apartments for our group and what is not noted is that the two apartments are in two separate buildings! We realized that we would have to walk up four floors, but thought that both apartments were adjacent to one another. Not so. You have to go down four floors, go outside to the next building, and back up four floors to go between apartments. If not for these issues, we would have really enjoyed staying in these apartments. They are well equipped. The owner does provide good customer service. If you are looking for good, clean, modern economical alternative to hotel rooms and it is not during the hot summer days, I would recommend these apartments. To the owner, I would recommend to purchase a few fans for summertime rentals. It would have made a huge difference in our comfort.

My family (2 adults + 2 youngsters 16 and 10) stayed here for 3 nights to visit the Koln Christmas markets. Easy to find, parking right outside and a very warm welcome to a very comfortable and well equipped accomodation. Spotlessly clean and perfectly located for all the attractions of Koln.

We (5 adults) had a fantastic stay at the apartment. It was spotlessly clean on our arrival and as mentioned by previous comments, the tram is just steps away. Our stay was in winter so we had no issues with the noise from the trams. I would definitely recommend the apartment to future travellers

My husband, 17 year old son, and myself loved this apartment. We had another son in Mungersdorf, staying at the Sports University. We travelled back and forth from an indoor skatepark (for my 17 year old) to the university daily and found this to be a great central location. The parking is amazing - easy to park in a city that has few spaces. The tram was right outside the door but we needed a car. There is a grocery store a few blocks away and a SUPER Pizza place just down the road. The apartment is lovely, just as represented. The owner's mom was there when we arrived, she was very nice and left us an immaculate apartment. We felt safe and comfortable. Great place to stay and explore Cologne!!!!!!

Wir haben uns die Tage in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefüllt. Die Wohnung ist ruhig. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, dass man ohne Problem kochen kann. Einkaufsmöglichkeit um die Ecke. Egal mit Straßenbahn oder mit Auto kommt man schnell in die Stadt.
