However the other room has a big open concept closet. Two bathrooms. One has a hairdryer. That was important for me. The living room was spacious. The outback was very relaxing. The house is so close to the night life. We walked everywhere. Overall GREAT EXPERIENCE!

We were in Key West for a wedding at Fort Zachary Beach. The location and convenience of staying at the Bahama house could not be beat. We also had a lot of fun hanging in the back pool area with our neighbors in the other suites, most of whom have stayed at Bahama House many times. If/when back in Key West, we would certainly join that club.

The property was great! Location perfect and our car never left the driveway. We walked everywhere and enjoyed it. Market one block away, Judy Blume bookstore around the corner & Sloppy Joes right down the street- perfect!

The pool and backyard common area are great too. After staying here many times the property is really showing its age and is in need of a major renovation. It is a great spot but next time we will look to stay elsewhere in a newer property.

Painting began during our stay which was mildly inconvenient but we still had a wonderful time.

Can’t get any closer to all of the action of duval without actually staying on duval. This unit is Slightly off the beaten path one street over from duval on a quiet block. It was clean, decorated in the colorful vibe of key west, had all of the needed amenities and was managed very well by the local vacation rental company. 5 stars all the way! Would definitely stay here again. Thanks!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Four guest consisting of two married couples stayed four nights. The unit needs the crockery replaced and the kitchen sink drains slow. The toilets are water savers and therefore don’t flush well and occasionally needed filled with additional water to clear them as refill was VERY slow on their own. The unit was acceptably clean, however a deep cleaning under beds and furniture, windows , drawers and cabinets etc should be done. Overall expectations were met and our stay required no intervention for maintenance or housekeeping issues.

Location was awesome! You were able to walk for anything you needed. The house is perfect location and for what we needed. The only complaints that we had was the air unit did not go below 71 degrees. It was hot to us since we are use to having a cold unit. We tried to use the fans but one was completely broken. The dryer does not dry on the first round. It took many many many times for our clothes to get dry and seem to still not dry them properly. It was not anything that put a damper on our vacation. We still had an awesome time!

The grocery store is even closer. Everything we wanted to do was walkable. The property itself was fair. In the pictures, it looks like there are lots of windows, but the windows look into another part of the home and were covered by closed blinds that couldn't be opened . One of the windows in the guest room was broken, had been taped with duck tape but had a huge gap so you could hear all the noise outside, and it was noisy especially about 6 am. The furnishings were nice and the pool area was wonderful. Overall I'd give the property a B. If location is your top concern this is a great choice. If you're looking for a place you'll be at a lot, maybe not.

The Bahama House was in an excellent location which was within walking distances to great restaurants and places of interest. The place was pretty much as advertised. The pool area was a little small and was a little crowded with the number of guests enjoying the weekend. The outside areas could use a little cleaning/sprucing up. The parking was not an issue since there were only 2 cars for the house, but I could see it as an issue if a lot of guest traveled by car.

The faucets and shower heads are old and need to be replaced. When you turn the faucet on in one of the bathrooms the water comes out at a 90 degree angle and sprays water all over you. The shower curtain was broken and didn't cover the length of the bathtub. All faucets were close to coming out of the sinks and tubs. The two bathrooms are located off of the living room so you need to walk out of the bedrooms to the living room to get to the bathrooms. One of the bathrooms is extremely small. It is a weird set up. We didn't cook so we're not sure the condition of the stove but it is very old. Some bathroom upgrades and attention to detail will greatly improve the property. There are several units in the house and the walls are paper thin. You definitely hear every noise in the adjoining rooms and units. The property should be better for the price.

The pictures were 10 times better than the actual property. The house is old. The electrical outlets did not work good. The floors were uneven and dirty. The kitchen needs more supplies. The outside grill bottom is busted so cooking on the grill is difficult. The bed pillows are hard. The pool was very nice. The location is close to Duval Street. We paid entirely too much money for this.
