Yes, it was a quiet neighborhood. There was a bed, living area kitchen and bathroom. That is where the accuracy of the advertisement ended. Had to wait 30 minutes after agreed check in time due to cleaning had not been completed. Please read the CDC guidelines, they were not followed. Soap scum was on the shower doors. A filthy frying pan had been left in the cabinet which still contained grease and hamburger meat. The property manager said that they would have the cleaning crew come out and reclean the home, in three days. Trash cans were overflowing upon arrival. Had to request extra sheets and a dish drainer. Gas oven would either over heat or not heat. The handyman did not remember if he had been notified about the oven. He decided to show me how to turn on an oven, I have been cooking for over 40 years, I know how to turn on an oven. The oven still did not work correctly. I notified management and was informed that the handyman would return on Monday with the correct tools to diagnose the oven issue. He came on Wednesday with a temperature gun, adjusted the oven, stated that it was fixed. That evening, fish and fries didn't cook enough to eat after 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. This complaint was noted in a previous rental review for another person. There was a strong gas smell in the laundry area, the handyman tested for leaks, stated that none were found and told me just to open the back door to vent the area. Gas has that smell added as a safety feature, if you smell it, fix it. I had to point out to the handyman that there were electrical wires not covered behind the door to the laundry room, another safety hazard. It was then covered with a plastic cover instead of the correct metal panel. Broken glass in the yard. Short and curly hairs were found on the mattress cover. Notified management that the grill did not work properly, housekeeping came and smeared the dirt around on it but it was never even looked at to try to make it useable. Bathroom door knob has sharp edges where it appears to have been pried open. Expansion rod and empty flower pots left by the front door. Animal hair on furniture and in the cabinets. Remote in the living room barely works. Netflix and Prime advertised but required passwords. I refuse to use my personal passwords. A/C not adequate to keep the kitchen cool enough to cook. Oven wasn’t heating up to temperature several times was our only issue. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it did not in the 3 weeks. Response from team for anything was fast.
