It was set back from the main road, so it was quiet but easy to access the road out of the area. It was central to Rapid Bay, Normanville and Kangaroo Island to name but a few of areas of Tourist interest. The room had a Microwave, Fridge, Toaster, Tea and Coffee facilities. The owners had provided a complimentary basket of goodies, such as Biscuits (Tim Tams) Crisps, sweets, Cheesy savoury snacks etc. I would recommend the Lodge without hesitation.

We stayed in the stone cottage which was very rustic. Liz was very accommodating and helpful.

The was a lot of Traffic noise that started at 6:30am.

There were quite a few stairs to access room. Stair rails were good.

The owners were very personable and helpful, accomodation was clean and comfortable. Greenery was beautiful surrounding the lodge.

The shower head and inside of shower had mold growing, so the bathroom could’ve been cleaner. Perhaps a shower head replacement?

Perfect for one night

Very comfortable,clean and rustic …the owner was very friendly and helpful.He gave us plenty of information of places to visit in and around Second Valley.Thankyou we’ve enjoyed our stay!

The location was central to what we needed

The bed wasn’t comfortable probably because we are used to a king size.
