Quick overnight on the way to the ferry. Matthew gave us local maps and great suggestions for eating and viewing wildlife as well as local sights

A lovely break before heading over to Kangaroo Island for a conference. Very comfy bed, rustic and absolutely charming. Just needs better reading lights (our age group 70+) lovely hosts.

Due to circumstances beyond our control we arrived at 8.30pm. The property was very comfortable but had very little time to enjoy it before it was bed time. Check in was very easy and the owners kept us imformed. Left early the next morning.

Liz went out of her way to ensure the room was adequate for my needs and I really appreciated that.

Comfy cottage, good heater, awesome bed. Away from other dwellings, not much else around the vicinity. Nice breakfast in the fridge for us. Only down side I'd mention is that the outside communal court area could do with a bit of attention

This place was a great stop over for us for our very early ferry over to kangaroo island. Very quiet and beautiful little spot, t perfect for one night. We were lucky there was some noodles in the pantry for our dinner as there was absolutely nothing around when we got in around 5pm. So we were super grateful! Bed was super comfortable and the sound of the mooing cows across the road was so nice. Really connected to nature and the quietness of SA. Lovely spot

It is a nice place to stay before and after the ferry for Kangaroo Island as only 15 minutes away. The rooms are clean and no requests were an issue.

The location in nice and the rooms were a good size except the bathroom which was tiny and had a trip hazard every time you went in or out the door. The carpet was stained and smelt really bad. There was only one really noisy aircon unit in the bedroom which you couldn't have on at night. There were a couple of column heaters which were totally inadequate. The doona was so thin and there were hardly any blankets, so we were cold all night. Do not recommend staying here.

The uniqueness of the Cottages is what my partner and I found so compelling. Great facilities, warm and cozy and wonderful stay.

It was a great stay we were a little last minute booking and customer service was excellent. Will stay again thankyou :)
