The house was clean and just great for our 2 family trip. The kitchen was very well stocked for cooking, plenty of beds/baths, & lounging. Plenty of towels and linens and pillows. The mattresses were uncomfortable and would benefit significantly from a memory foam topper. Those of us 40 year olds felt about 70 every morning. But otherwise it was a great stay and a wonderful house. Excellent location, quiet neighborhood, super easy check in and out. Would absolutely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay with several adults and children. Kitchen and dining and living area are nice and open allowing everyone to spread out. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. There is also a pack and play, baby gate, and toys for littles. We will be back!

Well appointed home away from home.

The house was great and beautifully clean when we got there. The house had a lot of amenities but was missing a few. There’s no meat thermometer anywhere in the house, which we really needed so we had to drive all the way out to Tillamook to get one. There was only a tiny bit of tin foil left so we also needed to get that. The shower curtain the the bathroom upstairs needs to be fixed. The shower pole curves UPWARDS making the plastic curtain come in at an angle at the bottom so the corner of the tub wasn’t protected so a bunch of water let coming out of the corner onto the floor. We had to put a bunch of towels in that corner on the floor. I recommend repositioning the curved pole to curve OUTWARDS not UPWARDS. This will take care of the leaking water problem and it will make the shower feel bigger since it’s so skinny and small. The thermometer for the house wasn’t working when we got there so we had to wait hours for it to be fixed. The house was freezing. A few things need to be fixed and some amenities need to be replaced because they’re running low. Also, the stairs that go downstairs so SO SLIPPERY. A few of us fell down them. Please get carpet or some type of grip tape on them. Other that those issues, the house was fine.

Beautiful clean house close to beach

The house was nice and obviously well thought out in terma or layout. It qas great for folks who are arriving by can and have space to bring everything they need but for anyone flying in with just clothes it was a little lacking. No beach chairs, bikes, or water stuff...either bring your own or rent which is extra cost. This was one of the pricier properties so having to spend more on extra things was frustrating. The firepit was hard to use (directions werent clear) so we had to call the property manager and the dishwasher top rack was broken which was a huge inconvience for 9 people and the amount of dishes we had to wash. Grill ran out of propane mid week. Lots of towels and bedding which was great.

We had a larger group of family stay here and loved it! One thing that would be helpful since we had littles and pets would be a baby gate for the stairs. Also if you have pets just know there is a “Karen” that will complain if your dog barks…. Other than that it was a great stay!

The house was a perfect place for our family Spring Break. It had enough room for everyone. The only thing was the dishes were dirty. I had to wash most of them.

Well stocked kitchen, comfy beds, lots of room to spread out and excellent location. Wish there had been enough chairs/extra at the table in kitchen to match the number of beds (there were only 6, but 10 people stay). Vacasa was not responsive to a running/broken toilet that was an issue when we arrived but it didn’t impact our stay much since there were other bathrooms. All in all great house, very updated condition and super clean.

The house is not one we'd have picked on our own, and we didn't. It was a substitute for another house we rented that suddenly became unavailable - too far from the beach. However, it did fit our needs, was clean. Could have used more cooking utensils. Spent lots of time on the deck. The beds weren't comfortable.

This place is a gem. We read previous reviews that the kitchen wasn't well stocked, so came prepared, but we were really impressed by how much the kitchen had! Way more than any of other our airbnb/vrbo experiences. The only thing we ended up glad we brought along was our sharp kitchen knife. But the photos don't do justice to the amount of space in this house. They even had a few puzzles and board/card games, and TV came equipped with a roku which was really nice. Straight shot from the house down to the beach too (just over a half mile each way, so we drove, but would be easy enough to walk). If this place had a fenced in area for the dog, and a hot tub, we never would've left (seriously).

Thoroughly enjoyed our family time in this rental. Plenty of room, well equipped, short drive down the street to the beach and shopping. The kids loved s’mores at the fire pit in the evening. Communication was easy and response quick from the management team. So appreciated! Will definitely return and recommend! Thank you.

Stayed at Rockaway beach for my 60th birthday. Sand to Forest had almost everything we needed for adults and kids. They need a bigger trash can and the knives need sharpening.That's my only complaint. Would love to stay again.

The property is great. Pros: Location is PRIME- it is close enough to walk to everything but there is enough distance that you feel private Fully stocked kitchen- great for people who like to cook Very comfy beds Game room downstairs is perfect for rainy days Cons -there was TOO many text messages from random phone numbers asking information about the property -The kitchen was pretty dirty -The windows were really really dirty -The burners on the stove either wouldn't light or wouldn't turn off -We got a very accusatory text message about something with the neighbors. None of which happened We hosted a team retreat the first half of the stay and it was GREAT. Each team member had their own space and the house has enough space to feel comfy. The second half of the stay our kids came out for a family weekend at the coast. Overall it was lovely and we would stay again. A couple little tweaks and this place would be stellar.

It was easy to do and we absolutely loved being given the option of a late checkout.

The property was just like the pictures. The beds were very comfortable. The only issue we had was that the basement level smell a little musty.

The house was in a wonderful location and very nice, but not well equipped. We had to buy a lot of stuff that other properties we have rented through VRBO supplied plenty of, such as dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. The location was great, the house was beautiful, and a few little tweaks would make it perfect! Rockaway Beach and the surrounding areas were amazing!!

Everything we needed for a great week in Rockaway! About a half mile from the beach in a quiet, friendly neighborhood. This house has it all and nicely decorated. Garbage can could be larger, especially for larger groups like ours, but owners quickly had it emptied mid week for us! Excellent customer service…highly recommend! Also the Old Oregon Smokehouse has amazing fish n chips!!

The Sand to Forest was all we expected and more. Gorgeously remodeled and super clean, it has enough space for a large party of guests. The kitchen is well equipped, the beds comfortable, and we particularly liked the gated deck so our dogs could roam outside. It is located up 2nd street, which is the heart of Rockaway.

Exquisitely modern and welcoming home perfect for a family get-away. Lots of sleeping options and the beds are very comfortable. Short three-minute drive to beach and access parking lot. Home is well cared for and it feels like you’re in your own neighborhood, tucked away in the coastal forest. The kitchen is well-stocked, all appliances are easy to use, a joy to cook in. There are many in-house entertainment options. Our family enjoyed it very much, especially eating on the (fenced in) deck which was great for the dogs and toddler. A must-stay!

Our group of 13 loved this sizable home! Clean, well stocked, affordable, and plenty close to fresh water fishing, surf perch, crabbing, clamming, and the beach! We would definitely stay here again!
