Beautiful property, well maintained with exceptionally pleasant and accommodating hosts and staff. The great room, kitchen and dining area are very spacious and made it easy for our three families to cook, dine and relax. The large windows with views of the nearby mountains add to the feeling of spaciousness. The property is well located for summer activities such as hiking, biking, golf and water sports. There are several large supermarkets a short drive away in Kutchan which made it easy to shop for food although there is also a good selection of restaurants in the area.

The property and staff exceeded our expectations and there was nothing we did not like about the property.

This property was giant! Amazing open kitchen and living room. A laundry room with ample space to store ski gear and clothes to dry over night. The customer service was wonderful! Andrew lives on the property and was quick to reach out once we booked to help my group coordinate ski rentals, transportation and give local advice on grocery stores and restaurants. This property come with a well equipped kitchen, fashioned to host groups of 10-15 guests. The lodging is a 7 minute drive from Grand Hirafu Base lift. Our group opted to rent a vehicle to get around the Niseko area. The property had parking, steps away from the entry.

One downside of the location during COVID times is that it isn’t walking distance to the downtown area and Taxi’s are hard to come by currently.

Thanks to the best hosts I’ve ever had, Andrew and 小林さん, we had an extra great experience in niseko. They offered a lot of information for us, not only about the house, but also taking care of our journey in niseko. You don’t even need to worry about having no place to go. This house makes you relax and chill by just sitting on the sofa doing nothing and looking at the view from the huge window. And their screen golf is also a such nice thing for having fun with friends:) Anyway, already can’t wait to come here again one day.

I was at Hakobune in February with a group of friends. The rooms are functional, with en-suite bathrooms and showers are strong. What sets this place apart from the other accommodation is the exceptionally large and stylishly-designed sitting and dining room with high ceiling and fire place and a well-equipped open kitchen. An ideal place for family holiday or for 5 couples.

If you must find fault with this place, it is not door step skiing. However, there is a bus service to the slopes and it's only less than 10 mins by car to Annupuri and nice restaurants.

View is excellent from the chalet. Breakfast spread also fantastic. 👍
