Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice clean very dated house.(BASEBOARD HEATERS!)Nice appliances, fireplace with plenty of wood, comfortable beds.The reseal company did not have the house prepared. I’m a very dark neighborhood, NO lights were on when I arrived... NONE! I drove around for 40 minutes trying to locate the house in the dark.None were on in the house. The heat had not been turned up to a comfort level. And the baseboard heaters in my bedroom were not working.There was no welcoming features such as a laid fire or even a stack of firewood next to the fireplace.

We stayed at this property for a long weekend at the end of July. It's a quirky property but it's very comfortable and was immaculately clean. It comfortably housed six of us, and could have handled another 1-2 people without any trouble. Location-wise, it's a bit north of town, so you do need a car to get to anywhere notable unless you'd like to take the bus (or you're headed to Big Wood Bakery). I suspect this would be a lovely winter retreat - and it was great this summer with generally lower temperatures (there isn't a/c).
