Cottage The Tack Room at Wallis Farm House
Wallis Casale è un casale in ritardo georgiana nel pittoresco villaggio di Hardwick. Forniamo una vasta gamma di alloggi con angolo cottura, nei pressi della città di Cambridge, in Inghilterra. La casa si trova in ampi giardini adiacenti nostri prati e boschi, che confinano con la Via Wimpole. Hardwick si trova a 5 miglia dalla città universitaria di Cambridge, e 15 miglia da Ely e Newmarket.
Abbiamo sei singoli auto-catering Barns e Cottage a Wallis Farm, ognuno con il suo carattere unico, e offre una varietà di sistemazioni per due a quattro persone. I primi tre sono in un fienile convertito attraverso il cortile dal Casale. Molte delle caratteristiche originali dell'edificio sono state mantenute, e le camere sono arredate e dotate di uno standard elevato. Il secondo tre sono in un moderno edificio a forma di L e hanno vista sui giardini e terreni agricoli. Un Cottage è stato adattato con una rampa di accesso per disabili e un bagno modificato per le persone con problemi di mobilità. Tutte le nostre strutture riscaldamento a gas con TV e connessione internet. Asciugamani e lenzuola sono fornite.

We've been staying in the Tack Room each September (bar Lockdown year) for several years now and it's like home from home.

Convenient for Cambridge and our family which lives nearby. We did very little food prep just eating breakfast as we were out with the family most of the time. We will probably be back next year.

We stayed in the Tack Room. The rooms are very clean and the grounds are beautiful and well kempt. The kitchen is tiny - just fine for tea , coffee, breakfast and some basic cooking. It was nice to find some tea, coffee, sugar and milk left for us. Pleasnt interiors with plenty of space for organising things. Extremely comfy bed! It was quite cold weather but heating worked well. The is owner is very friendly and helpful. Perfect place for visiting Cambrige. Will come again. Thank you Will.

Visited Duxford for a wonderful day out/ likewise Cambridge. The Tack Room was great for our stay. Very comfortable. We’d stay again in a heartbeat.

Part of our family lives in Hardwick village so Wallis Farm gave a very convenient opportunity to be with them whilst also giving them space to be with their son in a small house

We wanted a short break with our English bulldog, Bella, and was delighted to find this accommodation. We stayed in the Tack room and found everything to our liking. The property was very tastefully decorated and most importantly the bed was very comfortable. There was a pub literally a couple of minutes walk away serving excellent food which was also a bonus!
Our host was on hand if we needed anything, which we didn't, but also left us alone to enjoy our stay. We will definitely go back

Our third stay at Wallis farmhouse. We were attending the Cambridge Folk Festival and the cottage is in a convenient location for this.

Having stayed in Wallis Farmhouse accommodation on several previous occasions, Will was very flexible in deferring our booking for June 2020 to this year (Covid having made it impossible last year). Everything was just as cosy and trouble-free as on previous visits.

We booked the Tack Room for 2 nights at short notice & we’re lucky enough to find a vacancy. Perfect for 2 people, beautifully styled inside, clean & comfortable. Plenty of parking & only 10 mins to Cambridge park & ride.
Kitchen is small, but has everything you need for a great stay (oven, hob, microwave)

A beautiful place to stay, location ideal for visiting sick friend nearby.Excellent facilities inside and out,especially good for travelling with dogs, with garden space to walk them straight from the door & great footpath network just up the road.

Our accommodation was one of three units in a barn conversion opposite the welcoming and helpful owners farm house. The property was spotless, well-equipped, warm (November stay), cosy and peaceful with a car parking space adjacent. The very comfortable king-sized bed and fluffy towels were much appreciated. We were ten minutes drive from Madingley Road park and ride with buses every ten minutes into Cambridge town centre.

Perfect location for my purpose, great parking especially as I was driving a 3.5t Horsebox,, The accommodation was absolutely amazing, very clean, lots of hot water,, bed very comfortable and the bed linen was luxurious.. Thank you for having us xx

A lovely find
Quaint property is a lovely setting with lots of communial gardens for the doggies. We loved this property and have booked again for August 2021.

Not at all Tacky!!
Stayed in the former Tack Room on the farm - hence the title! Very well converted and fitted to high standard. Ample parking and short stroll to the pub. Shame about the weather though!
