The price

The owner gave us the room key to room that was occupied at 1st. Then the TV didn't work and the room was filthy and smelled horrible. The blankets were full of stains and itchy.

I stayed on the first floor and felt very safe and comfortable. People in the neighbourhood were very friendly and welcoming, as were the staff at the hotel. As a huge added bonus, they did not require me to use/pay by credit card; they were more than happy to accept my cash money! My room was nice and big with a very comfortable bed and all the necessary amenities for a very reasonable nightly rate. Washroom/shower was very clean and there was plenty of hot water. Incredibly convenient location as it is walking distance to LAX and the Kia Centre. Lots of excellent restaurants/bars and stores nearby with a wide variety of food options. Lots of places nearby that are open late or are open 24 hours which is always very convenient, especially when one is traveling. There are also lots of murals/artwork and other landmarks in the area to explore, especially along nearby La Brae Ave. I definitely recommend this place for other travelers as a short-term or longer-term place to stay while visiting Los Angeles. If I ever have the chance to return, I will most definitely stay here again. Much appreciated. Thank you!

Looks like the floor wasnt mopped right

I did not like that I only could pay with cash. When I went to go lay down a bed bug was walking across the sheets. I killed it by setting it on fire because it wouldn’t die any other way, I told the staff and staff said I was lying that wasn’t the same big and that they were going to call the cops on me and was refusing to give me a refund. I told the staff that’s fine and I called the cops and they only gave me half of my money back stating I was there for a day, but I checked in 6PM & discovered the bedbug once I was going to get some rest at 10PM.

Totally unprofessional.. Booking denied We reached around 10:30 pm Only to be told in the wee hour that they have cancelled our booking and given to someone else Sorry state of affairs
