great lodge in a nice environment. especially the hummingbird garden is beautiful. the restaurant is very good and has vegetarian options. would heartily recommend to do the birding tour that the lodge provides ($30 pp). the guide Oscar is very knowledgeable and friendly, and we were able to spot the beautiful quetzal, emerald toucan and more

Incredibly priced hotel with a personal experience and atmosphere. Views from our room were incredible and, while fairly simple, it was just what we needed. The food was fantastic and staff incredibly helpful.

Bathroom was very basic/out of date, but that is nit picking!

The lodge is located in the beautiful mountains of Copey. The road leading to this lovely place of natural beauty is very good. We were greeted by Diego who was most helpful and kind.The delicious breakfast is a typical Costa Rican one, which you enjoy while watching all the humming birds at their feeders! Dinner was also very good and prices were reasonable. The uphill climb on their trail is worth it, especially if you can make it to their Cypress Forest!

It was incredibly comfortable, wish we would have had 2 nights! The suite was nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable and it was so lovely to take a bath. During the day there were lots of birds to watch from the terrace and at night glow worms!

We loved our stay. Very friendly staff. Nice room with a big terrace! Breakfast was very tasteful. You can also have dinner there which was perfect.

Nothing, it was perfect. If I had to say something a kettle in the room would have been nice but not necessary at all.

The price was really good for a really nice room with really nice views. We had a really simple lunch, but it was good. The rooms are confortable and spacious.

They did not asked what would you like to eat for breakfast, there was only one option and they served that option without asking if you wanted it. The breakfast was not that good

Set in the forest with views of the valley, welcoming host Diego, the suite was spacious, detached cabin with porch overlooking the valley and a fireplace to take the chill off

what s not to like?

The food was delicious, both for breakfast and dinner (breakfast was included). The prices for the food were very inexpensive (dinner), a lot less than in San Gerardo de Dota, where we went for lunch. Diego, the receptionist, was very friendly. The walk on the trail behind the hotel was wonderful.

I think that the bathrooms might need a little remodeling, but they were clean and the water was really warm, and very much appreciated.

Kind staff, delicious food at a good price. Breakfast was small but delicious. Confortable bed and pillows. Even the standard rooms have a great view to the mountains. It is worth doing the 2.8KM hike inside the property.

Standard rooms have thin walls and wood floors, you can hear the people in the next room, but not a big issue for us.

Amazing place. Diego is very kind and will help with everything. Good place to book quetzal watching tours - we saw many on our tour, also going for a coffee tour in coopedota is very good. Rooms are beautiful and so is the sorounding. Restaurant really good.
