The location, it was quite and peaceful which is what we were looking for. A chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It was really a Sanctuary. Thank you ever so much for the experience.

There is nothing i didn't like to be honest. There are booklets and notices around the house explaining how the house operates especially during load-shedding. Most importantly there is a notice cautioning guests about the monkeys which i found very important during our stay.

The weather wasn't very nice for holidays, but staying indoors was made so much more bearable because the house was amaaaazing...

Beautiful cosy home.. well maintained.

We loved the house, the cleanliness and the peace and quiet. The anemities were great and the staff in and around Zimbali are great.

We couldn't get the gas braai to work. The security is nice but admistrative if you're using ehailing. A shuttle service that is available for all guests would be nice in the estate.Otherwise Zimbali is a beautiful place

The host accused us of "burning/damaging the Kitchen Granite top" with hot pot. How absurd is this? How could we have possibly heated the pot so hot it damaged the Granite top; and we hardly cooked as we ate out.

It is a most beautiful house with all the comforts and necessities. Very relaxing and peaceful. An awesome resort with many walkways and pools etc, very nice for children.

Nothing i didnt like

there was no electricity in the area on the 1st night so we had to delay check in by a day, I’m sad we didn’t get to experience the whole home properly.

Professionalism of the staff, resort is well maintained, access to all the facilities and security was excellent gave us a peace of mind. Very relaxing experience and overall a place to return to again in future.

No sea view from the property, had issues with network and fibre wasn't working. Owner did make available a backup for the internet which was really appreciated from us.

Not allot to be honest

Upon booking the description stated 3 bathrooms 3 bedrooms,a toilet is not a bathroom, the description should state 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom,this however was a serious problem that couldn’t be resolved and we had to except that we paid for a description that wasn’t correctly stated from the advertisers. We had absolutely no signal at that villa,couldn’t make or recieve any calls,also quite serious and wouldn’t have made the reservation if we were informed in advance. Our sliding door couldn’t lock ,so anyone can slide open the door and have access to our valuables!! We had a problem with the wifi and it took almost the length of our stay to have it sorted out. We have business to manage but we couldn’t be reached at our villa .. was very uncomfortable experience to manage. We towed a buggy down for us to move around the estate ,we asked permission in advance and uppon arrival we were almost not even allowed to take the vehicle in to the resort .. I towed it for 800km and not used it once. I have two babies .. two .. to move them around the estate or anywhere for that matter is already difficult that’s why we took the buggy allong,but even though we weren’t alowed to use it we were also not alowed to park near the pool with all our daily luggage as a family with an infant of 6 weeks .. it was a mission to enjoy most of the facilities without security harassing us with a list of questions when were planning to enjoy a comfortable family holiday. Exactly why we chose Zimbali as a holday destination in the first place!!! Even when you return from Ballito to get back into the resort takes up to 45 minutes sometimes.. getting to the gate ,questions,and arrogant staff that is in no hurry at all to speed up the control at entrance. Zimbali is seriously overrated and its only a resort for residents,and not at all for holiday stay .. will most definitely never be planning a trip to Zimbali I actually have nothing positive to say about our experience.

The Villa is stunning and decorated beautifully. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The only thing is, if possible for deliveries to be made to the door. We wanted to order takeaway on Saturday and we’re unable to do so. That is the only thing really. Otherwise amazing place.
